I bought the black, white & blue set. I am VERY happy with it! They’re really lovely, perfect actually.I wanted a simpler color scheme & design & these are exactly right. So Glad I ordered this set. The workmanship is excellent & the size is generous.They’re classic & genuine Russian nesting dolls.I would feel sure that any of the sets from this vendor are equally wonderful.

For the hours I spent picking out just the right Russian Nesting doll, I’m pleased with the quality. Except for the noxious smell! Before I gave these as a gift, I opened up all the dolls and had them propped for a week right in front of an air purifier. It helped but only somewhat.I hope the odor will with fade with time.

Good quality, beautifully hand painted, and sturdy. Came bubble wrapped with Russian writing. My 5 year old daughter loves them. They are fairly easy to open. The largest doll was tougher to open when we first got them but after a few times opening, it was easier to open. I would definitely recommend these dolls.

Excellent. 6 year old granddaughter was enamored with this old-world gift. Beautifully painted fisherman & family. (Strong paint smell when first opened but all in all not a problem for us.) No batteries needed. Yay!

Painted even nicer than the photos. These are real Russian hand-carved matryoshkas. Good tight seal on the four that open. Mine came with a red velvet bag. For a few dollars more you can get the real thing, not a made in China version.

This matryoshka doll is a beautiful addition to my collection. I like the size of the set and the painting of the doll is very nice --very clean and simple in it's design.
