Holds my range finder well.
Very good range finder holder. I had to do a little work on it to get it to mount up to my binocular case. I know that this item is made to hook up to the Crooked Horn Bino system, but with all of the other binocular holders out there now, I really think making the top attachment more adjustable with a piece of Velcro or some other form of attaching it would make it work better and be more versatile. Also, possibly changing the way it secures the range finder in might help. Like a Velcro piece that attaches to the piece that goes over the eye piece. More for piece of mind then anything. I do not hunt out of tree stands, usually spot and stock, so being able to secure my range finder in would help, but it does have the clip that goes to the range finder. So if it fell out it would not get very far.

An excellent idea to go with the Crooked horn binocular system
This holster works very well. An excellent idea to go with the Crooked horn binocular system. It makes your rangefinder quickly and quietly accessible while keeping it attached to you and out of the way. I tried it with a Leupold RX-1000i, a Leupold RX-II and a Nikon Laser 400 and they all fit just fine. Wouldn't go much bigger than the RX-II though. The only possible problem might be the length of the string loop that the rangefinder is tethered with. For us taller people it might be a little short. However, it looks like it's easy enough to replace with a longer loop if needed. I think that will all depend on how you have the system adjusted and where the attachment point is on your rangefinder. The tether slides up the strap as you lift the rangefinder and it stops once it reaches the adjustment buckle. The whole strap system is elastic so you can just pull and the rangefinder will reach your eye. However, in some cases it might be a little more comfortable if the string loop was longer. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a better way to carry a rangefinder.

Havent use it hunting
This is a great deal. I am going to try it while shooting my bow soon. I may have to put the holder on my left arm because I am a right hand shooter but we will see. Worth buying. Worked well with my Nikon bino system. Camo could be better for the money. Reason for the 4 stars
