Now for the first time accurate drawings have been created of two different Wespe, two different Hummel, the Heuschrecke IVb, and the le.F.H.18/40/2 Sf. Hundreds of hours were spent precisely measuring surviving Artillerie Sfl. and components to create these new four-view 1/35 scale drawings. The failure to get innovative self-propelled howitzers (dismountable with all-round firing capabilities) into production is thoroughly documented. A rare photo of the Hummel-Wespe and its history are included. When significant modifications were introduced on the Zwischenloesung Wespe and Hummel has been sorted out. This has been made possible by over 40 years of research in private and public archives and chassis number analysis.
