Would love to see it made into a Disney film! Mr. Tierney's paper dolls are the piece de resistance. It's nice to see this remarkable art form still thriving, especially with the extraordinary talents of Ms McDonough, and the late Mr Tierney. A lovely collector's item!"

Stadia McDonough's ornate museum quality costumes are uniquely and exquisitely Russian. I purchased the book for my granddaughter and fell in love with the costumes and wonderfully written story that put me there as Feodora and desiring to wear each stunning costume with her. This gem of a book I also purchased another one for myself. Looking forward to Me McDonough's next book.

This is the by far the most incredible paper doll book ever published. The story of the sad little princess is lovely and the costumes are breath-taking. Stacia McDonough has written a beautiful story and created gorgeously-detailed costumes that Tom Tierney has brought them to life with his incredible talent. You will need to buy multiple copies of this book in order to have the 2 dolls dressed in all of their costumes and then at least 1 copy to admire and read. A definite must have for all fairytale book or paper doll collectors. You will not be disappointed by this wonderful book.

With so so many children's books out there, for one to stand out is truly exceptional. Staci McDonough has written a book which so beautifully captures the heart and soul of her heroine. The Sad Little Princess, Feodora, experiences are truly captivating and, spoiler alert, lead ultimately to true love. The story soars to indescribable heights with the paper doll costuming collaboration with noted Tom Tierney. A must read. Delightful. Magical. Bravo!
