Rising Goods Mask and Snorkel Set for Adults - Anti-Fog Glass, Purge Valve, Snorkeling Splash Cap

First of all it arrived almost a week early! Yeah, on less stress as we approach vacation! I purchased two of this set - one for my adult daughter and one for myself. The both fit and work wonderfully for the beach vacation we have planned. My only criticism is that there is no side visibility, but for me that's not a big deal. They are good quality. The mask did fog initially on the pool test, but I think I have that solved. It takes practice using the snorkel and mask, but I think with a few tries this will be perfect! Both pieces fit neatly in the net bag I received with the fins (ordered separately ) and won't take up too much room in my suitcase. Strongly recommended for a casual/vacation/pool/lake type activity.UPDATE: Vacation is over and the snorkel/mask combo for beginners got mixed reviews. My daughter had no problem with the mask or snorkel, no leaking or fogging or anything in a fairly calm ocean dive. I started to have leaking in the mask within a couple of minutes and couldn't manage to clear it. If you buy this set for a first time vacation useage - definitely practice before you go! Since we've been back my grand daughter (age 10) has been successfully using my mask/snorkel in the pool, so it's probably just me!

Before taking this product on any adventures, I wanted to test it in the pool at my apartment. It was at night, so bear with me with the photos.1. The package was straightforward and easy to open. No scissors needed here and that's a good start in my book!2. All you have to do is attach the snorkel to the mask and you're all set.3. The mask is easily adjustable on both sides. I was able to get a good, snug fit.4. Everything worked perfectly as described. No water entered the snorkel when going underwater and after two or three more adjustments, no water entered my mask.I find the material to be very durable and of good quality. I've snorkeled a number of times, including the Great Barrier Reef and Hawaii. I look forward to using this new set in my future endeavors.

Finally got to test this out in the pool. The snorkel works great! Easy to breathe an no water intrusion. The mask fit well but unless I tightened the strap to an almost uncomfortable level it leaked quite a bit below the nose area. Also the anti fogging seemed to only work on the left lens, the right side fogged up a little and I had to add a little anti-fogging juice. Those to problems are why only 4 stars. It will work for my purpose.

I got this one for our trip to overseas. Maybe I had high expectations due to all these positive reviews, but I did not find my experience positive. First of all, anti-fog is a joke. It was impossible to see anything if you don't put something on it to prevent fog. It also leaked water unless I made it very tight, and in that case, it left a horrible mark on my face that would stay for hours. I tried to loosen it up and somehow used it while it is getting water in, it still left the mask mark on my face. What I liked about it was the wide view and the splash guard. In summary, It is usable but you may want to look for better alternatives if you don't want to deal with these problems.

I've been a scuba diver for several years now and I was looking for another mask and snorkel to throw in my bag as spares. I came across this set on Amazon and it caught my eye. I was a little skeptical because it was a brand that I'd never heard of but I thought for that price it was worth a try.I got the package 2 days after ordering thanks to Amazon prime shipping. I took this set to our training pool to try it out and I'm really impressed. The mask made a good seal around my face and the anti-fog properties were as advertised. I really like the shape of the mask because it gives excellent peripheral vision.The anti-splash and purge features of the snorkel worked well also. I've paid $30 each for a mask and snorkel separately. This is a bargain to get both of these for only 30 bucks.I'll be using these pretty regularly in the future.

Item showed up vey quickly. NOT fog proof, and valve does NOT stop water from splashing in. Only good thing I can say is that it does fit very comfortably. Other than that, total waste of $$$! I live in AK, spent $10 on shipping, and would have to spend another $10 to send it back! Not sure if it is worth it.

Just got back from vacation and finally had a chance to write what a great product this is!!. Pictures don't do this mask-snorkel set justice. The form fitting rubber to face contact is incredibly comfortable and seals tight...no problem with leaking or pinching.The design allows for all the functionality needed for SCUBA or just snorkeling. You can easily pinch the nose to equalize inner ear pressure and easily break the seal to remove the mask or allow water in. No problem with fogging or clarity issues of any kind. It swims great. The snorkel, true to form, eliminates splash inhalation and purges with ease.Over all grade A+. I would definitely recommend this to others and will likely get another one myself to keep on the boat.

I received this yesterday. I live in Hawaii and can snorkel 350 days a year. I am a scuba diver so I no what equipment is good. This is not a cheap mask and snorkel. They sell junk here in Hawaii compared to this mask. The fit is good. I really am impressed with the snorkel. As good as you will find. The length , flexibility and top seal is as good as they get. Nice protective packaging. Take the time to adjust to your face and you will have great results. You can not go wrong buying this mask and snorkel to have a top notch fun snorkel trip with no problems.
