ER3XR with Etymotion Wireless Bluetooth Cable, Black, Model Number: ER3XR-BT

I am a long-time Etymotic user, primarily the ER4P wired model of which I still own 2 pair which I use for long distance motorcycling. Cables of course get snagged and become one more thing to contend with when hurtling down the highway @ 75 MPH. The ER3XR-BT was a breath of fresh air and I have been using mine for roughly 3 months now, mainly for phone use and listening to music. Although not as brilliant as the sound you get from the wired series, the range of sound is very good and the bluetooth 5.0 functionality means you can be further away from the sound source and barely notice the difference. Battery life is sufficient and I rarely have issues with daily phone connectivity which have plagued me with other brands (disconnects, sudden power down etc.).The only negative I can see (but have not yet experienced) is the very fine/thin wiring that could potentially create problems over time and rigorous use. The BT (wireless) models are build for lightweight functionality and that works to perfection, but even more robust wired systems eventually wear out over time and require extra focus to keep from becoming damaged. No negative marks for things not yet experienced, however. Just something to be aware of, and maybe consider the extended warranty through Amazon.I am planning to upgrade to the ER4XR-BT in the coming weeks. Etymotic is a brand that I trust and their customer support has always been top notch.

Good: Audio quality is great.Bad:-no where near 8hrs battery 6 at most-needs more volume granularity at from minimum-refuses to turn on without being plugged in first. Not that the batter failed, it just won't turn on. In order to turn it on I have to: plug into the wall, and immediately turn it on. If I turn them off, I have to find a wall outlet to get them back on...

I loved my old Etymotic er3xr, but they didn't have a wireless option. Since I use them when doing things that are noisy, like yardwork, being wireless is a big benefit. So much so that I used to use the Sure bluetooth receiver with my etys, which eventually broke them :(Then I discovered that Ety _finally_ had a bluetooth option.I love these things, great sound quality, fantastic isolation, and now a wireless option. The one problem I have is that (ironically) they don't have long enough wires! I'd prefer to loop them around my ears then to the front of my shirt, but the cables aren't quite long enough. The Sure bluetooth adapter was better in that regard. Otherwise, these are fantastic.

The battery life on these phones is horrible. They will not make it through a 8 hr work day. Then as a bonus a British voice screams "low battery" for the last 30 mins of battery life left. My 20$ Sony WI-C310 last much longer and have just as good sound quality for my purposes. In addition the cable management and clothing clips are useless.

Great noise cancelation when using the foam inserts, they mold well to each individuals ears and provide fantastic frequency response with exceptional base. The battery last for over 4 hours even with heavy use. Highly recommended.

Item scratched, packed like a baby was doing the job, sealed stickers have 2 layers, and the first layer is cut. Same for 2 orders in a row. Good puck with such a service.And yeah Amazon support is ghosting me on this issue. Leaving Chat and after saying to wait for 24 hours.

The battery only lasted for 30 minutes, otherwise headphones sound amazing.
