I bought this for 1/2 gallon biotone advance therapy massage gel. works great. I do shake the bigger bottle before pumping into my small everyday bottle.it's made for the 1/2 gallon but think you can use it for the 1 gallon. if you do use it for the 1 gallon just use it as long as you can then it should be light enough to just pour into your small every day bottle
