Low grade aluminum
I wasn't sure about the quality of this tip upon receiving it. It was very light but also seemed like a very low soft grade of aluminum. After prepping shimming and epoxing the tip to a brand new project x even flow riptide x-stiff driver shaft I let it cure over night. I went out to my practice net in the back yard to take a couple swings to see how everything felt. The first swing was a soft warm up and the ball came clean and crisp off the face of an older taylormade 9.5 rbz (mind you I'm left handed so clubs are limited to lie and loft preferences :-( ). I then took a couple full swings and was delighted with the feedback and solid feel of the club and shaft. I grabbed some face tape to see where I was making contact and so I could adjust the club head. The next swing felt a little off with some odd off-center vibration coming through the handle. The next was a centered strike with lots of ugly vibration and tone as the ball shot left into the net and trickled down to the ground. I took one more swing. With the contact being again in the middle, the flight and feel of the strike felt as if it were from that of a wedge or very open faced club. I looked at the club to realize that the tip that I had glued on had twisted and bent to such an angle that it was completely unusable. I took maybe 10 to 12 swings at most with this club. It is now in need of complete repair. I will have to remove the tip from a brand new shaft and hope not to damage it. Them get another tip to fasten to the end and hope the new one is better built. I do not recommend using this adapter. It has cost me ³time, money, and plenty of frustration. As well the tip is light soft and seemed to be made from cheap low-grade material.

iffy fit
Ordered a .335 adapter. Says TP on it so .335 is the only size it can possibly be. Had to literally force it onto my new shaft (.335 tip) and that was without any epoxy lol. I just went back to the scuffed up old one I had. Fit beautifully.
