I liked the way it applied. Very easy.

I bought this to help keep my lipstick in place, especially after drinking out of a glass or kissing my husband. Normally, I wear a lipstick that tends to stay in place by itself. L'oreal is one I wear almost all the time, long lasting or something like that. Color Stay type products. However, if I want to wear a different color, and I have several that I love simply because of the color, I had the problem of them not staying or getting all over my husband's lips. Even just a light kiss would do this with a few. I didn't want to sacrifice being able to use those colors, as I really loved them. The sealed with a kiss, works really well. I can apply it, over my lipstick, let it dry (it does burn a touch) and then it's pretty resilient. I will say, it won't hold up to eating a meal. Maybe snacking, but nothing like a hamburger, salad or sandwich. It also works best with matte lipsticks, but it helps the ones that are glossy too, just not as well. Probably the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. However, if there is a product like this, that is cheap, and perfect in every way, I have yet to find it. This comes pretty close.

This product tastes AWFUL! If you get it in your mouth (which is quite possible having your lips being so close to your mouth.......😳🙄) it almost burns your mouth and it tastes like a cleaner or something...just grose. It comes out quickly and an excessive amount so you have to wipe your lips off because it's so thick(sounds wrong, I know😉) but I'm trying to give you a visual. Maybe if you apply some of the product to a lip gloss stick applicator sponge thing and then onto the lips it might work better?? My daughter's lips were a little chapped and when I applied it to her lipsticked lips, it burned her lips so bad she was almost in tears!!! So that's an issue if your lips are chapped or cracked at all!! I tried it as well, without chapped lips and I had the same disgusting, copious amounts of awful tasting product on my lips but it didn't burn my lips. It DID hold up the color more than her regular lipstick so I guess it does work but at the cost of her lips and the taste and inconvenience of application, we aren't fans.

Been using this since 1994. I splurged and got 2 for a trip recently. Way way over priced. I used to buy this for about $3 a tube. Also, the roller ball freezes up. They used to make it with a brush to apply which was easier. Good news is, it works!

This stuff is just ok. It does make your lipstick somewhat transfer proof by drying it out. However, it does not make it fully waterproof,when you drink something it still will come off on the inside of your lips,just not the edges. Which is not too bad since the outside edges of your lips won't be smeared. But because the outside of your lips still have this stuff on them,when you go to touch up the inside of your lips,your lipstick will then start to flake off in big bits. So,if you need to touch up you have to start all over again anyway because you can't put new lipstick over this. Making this useless practically because the whole point was so that i at least wouldn't have to touch up the outer edges again,sigh.

This product is great but kind of tricky. It must react poorly with certain formulas of lip product because I did get a blister at first. I decided to try it carefully one more time before I contacted the seller and have now been using it for a week without any problems. I caution testing it first! It doesn't make lipstick last all day but it does help extend the wear. I like to wear it over a lipliner and then apply my lipstick over it.

(And, as always, Amazon.com brought me another of my "impossible to find" products. I've used this product for years but it has become impossible to find in drug stores so I'm glad it's here on Amazon. works well with cream lipsticks, but not with products with a glossy finish. I apply lipstick blot, then reapply, then use this. this technique gives me the longest wear time. it will still not hold through a meal that is greasy or oily. It does sting slightly, but that's minor.
