Ruggan Slim Convertible Laptop Backpack up to 14 Travel Bag Notebook Computer Anti-Theft with Padlock

I bought this to take on a trip to Europe. I needed a bag that would hold my laptop and the stuff I wanted for an 8hr flight. It has a separate padded zipper compartment for a computer that easily held my 13 in Macbook, a Kindle and a puzzle book. The large middle zippered compartment held my chargers, snacks, the infamous 1 quart ziplock bag, makeup, sunglasses and a pashmina. I bought a couple of small carabiners to secure the zippers when riding the subway. The backpack straps are sturdy and comfortable and tuck away in a pocket if you don't want to use them. The shoulder strap is long enough to use as a cross-body bag. The front compartment under the flap has a zipper and a bunch of little pockets to keep your stuff organized. There are 2 zipper pockets, one on each side that can hold a water bottle unless the bag is really full. Overall the bag seems well constructed and I think it will hold up for a long time. I wish it was just a couple of inches larger so it could hold a change of clothes but it is the only downside to the bag. The size measurements given in the product description are correct, I just under estimated how much stuff I wanted totake :)

I have just been using this one day, but so far it is great. My laptop fits well, and there is plenty of room for other things like my Kindle, crossword puzzle book, etc. I like that it has the side pockets for water and umbrella - saves a lot of room. And love the color, and the ability to convert to a shoulder strap, since I work in NYC and frequently have to take it on and off for the train etc. - the shoulder strap makes it more secure than just holding it.The only thing I would improve is that it comes with a small padlock that you can use to protect the contents, but this is cumbersome so I don't bother with it. What would have been more helpful is an inner strap in the laptop pocket that would secure it and make it more difficult for anyone to slide it out (e.g., on the subway).

I really wanted to love this bag, but I found it to be too slim, and not 7.5" wide. I could've made it work,but the top zipper doesnt open far enough down the sides. I have to really try to slide a notebook in next to my expandable planner since the opening is so small. This makes the inside pockets not useful to me. If you are carrying just a notebook and maybe a pad folio, it would be great. 13" laptop fit well. Seems well made, pretty comfortable. Returning since it didnt fit my needs

I have boughts of neck pain & needed a lap top bag that I could wear in different ways depending on my neck at the time...plus, I am a city commuter so having the multiple ways to carry the bag in order to fit in a packed train is perfect...You can wear it as a back pack, you can carry it like briefcase, or you can use the shoulder strap....It appears well made & has a lot of compartments...the zippers are large and look like they will hold up well...i've had the bag for a few months now & have no issues as of yet...

This is the perfect bag for me. I needed a technology bag (using the shoulder strap for easy on and off) for everyday use and a backpack for trips to the lake or the zoo to carry a drink and a wallet and camera (keeping my hands free). I looked for a long time for a convertible bag that would fit all my gear. I don't have a lot of room at home, so I wanted one bag that would meet all my needs. This bag does it all! Great price and was delivered promptly and in great shape. I look forward to using this bag for a long time. P.S. I love the choice of purple. Black is boring, white will be dirty before I leave the house, so purple was the winner.

I love this backpack! Tons of practicle pockets and the color was what I wanted, not to bright me to dull. The shape was better than appeared on the webpage and and the weight is distributed very nicely so the weight of my laptop is not too over bearing. I am in college so I am using it everyday and this is just what I needed. I really like the front pocket on the top that is velcro, I put my need to grab during class things in there such as chapstick and erasers so I don't have to dig for them. Super happy about this one!

This computer/back pack was perfect for my purposes. I wanted something light and small for travel that would fit my 14" laptop but not load me down with other weight. I wanted a side water bottle space. Although I would have preferred a mesh sack I could fit my 16 oz bottle in the zippered compartment. I needed something short enough to hang in front of my carry on suitcase. I was worried that this would be too high for my strap but it worked OK. I don't intend to use the messenger strap. No gain, no loss.

Bought a ticket the travel on Frontier Airlines. Then I discovered that they are charging for checked and carryon bags. The only baggage that they do not charge for is the personal item that fits under the seat in front of you.This backpack is AMAZING! There are countless pockets on the inside and the outside for storing various odds and ends. Because of the clever design, I will be able to pack three days' of clothing in addition to toiletries and save myself the baggage fees. This backpack also came with an additional shoulder strap.
