A whole library of tunes in one book!
I bought this 2 years ago and I am still discovering tunes I want to learn. This book is packed with advanced fingerstyle pieces from legends like John Renbourn, Pierre Bensusan, Bert Jansch, Laurence Juber, and so many others as well as artists I am not as familar with. The arrangements are in notation and tab and are accurate, well printed , and complete with the tunings for each piece clearly listed. The tunes are varied from folk, blues, celtic, country, and a few more adventurous tunes. It is a thick book bound like a ring binder so it opens fully to each page making the page turns a breeze. It is well worth the price for this much accurate fingerstyle tab in one book.

Worth the money / Huge book with a lot of songs
I could probably spend the next 20 years working through this. I was shocked by how thick this book was when it showed up. The price makes a lot of sense when you see it in person.I really like the selection of songs. A lot of them I didnt know and really enjoyed discovering. It expanded my artist list in spotify thats for sure. The difficulty ranges too. There are songs that are fairly easy and others that im not sure i'll ever play. Some of them I took one look at and quickly flipped to something else. That phil keaggy song is insane!Well worth the money though, and was happy to find a lot of work for the intermediate to advanced since there doesn't seem to be a lot of material out there past the beginner stage

Advanced but nice
I returned this as this requires the ability to “read” tabs, etc. I gave it 3 stars as it is a very nice book for the right person with intermediate or advanced talent and skills.

Pretty Good Songs but Should be Backed with Online Material
I think you have an advanced player to really utilize this book. The songs are good but the TAB is complex without any audio examples. I think if that was offered I would be able to give a better recommendation.

Accurate tabs for fingerstyle guitar from Intermediate to Extremely Advanced
I could probably use just this book for the next five years on my journey through fingerstyle guitar and still have challenges ahead. The coverage of styles is wide and well thought through - Traditional Blues (Lead Belly, Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Johnson, Elizabeth Cotten); Modern Blues (Ry Cooder, Jerry Reed); Folk Revival (Bert Jansch, Davy Graham, John Renbourne, Pierre Bensusan); Contemporary Fingerstyle (Kaki King, Don Ross, Tommy Emmanuel); Fingerstyle Rearrangements (Theme from the Godfather, Pink Panther, Killing me Softly, Crazy). The arrangements range from quite accessible but engagingly challenging (Anji, Killing Me Softly, Freight Train, The Irish Girl) to advanced and demanding (John Renbourne's The Nine Maidens, Kaki King's Kewpie Station) to the further reaches of technical playing (Mike Dawes' The Impossible or Tommy Emmanuel's Beatles Suite).Throughout, the transcription is of a consistently high quality. A nice touch is that a grouping of songs by tuning is provided at the front (so you can look at songs based on how your guitar is currently tuned, or avoid songs with complex retuning) and a short, insightful paragraph is provided for each song giving context and performance notes. All in all, the best music book I've used - the only caveat is that it will be too advanced for beginners.

The best sheet book of your life
If you are just remotely interested in acoustic solo guitar, get this book. Even if you do not play. Get it. And get the albums with the songs. It's all great music.
