Exploring Creation with Biology 2nd Edition, Textbook

For high school, I highly recommend Apologia. For elementary, I use AIG. I like the way the book is broken down in modules. The only thing I thought was odd is that the book has the answers for the questions in every chapter. We purchased the workbook as well which was worth the money. It has all the 'On Your Own Questions, Summary questions, Study Guide Questions, as well as pages for the labs. We ordered the microscope lab kit and the dissection kit as well. Everything you need is in the kits.The full program really makes this unit incredible . . . .and easy! We bought the supplement CD, but my daughter doesn't really use it.

I have used Apologia with both my homeschool students, with good results. He is easy to understand and it is as if he is sitting across the kitchen table discussing with the reader. I like his straightforward scientific approach, especially when discussing hot button topics. However, those on the other side of the fence, who are dogmatically science only without consideration of God - well, this book is not for you. Don't buy it unless you are willing to consider both sides of the argument. I am willing and he makes good, clear, concise presentations.

I used this book in home school setting, so I know it is an excellent book. This book arrived in good usable condition.

While I haven't used this in a school year yet, I did read sections of it and spent a large amount of time reviewing the information available in the book. It seems to contain a very comprehensive coverage of high school level biology and will prepare students not only for college but to intelligently explain their belief in creationism. As a scientist, I feel confident using this textbook as part of our curriculum.

I'm not a fan of Apologia's very wordy textbook (as a homeschooler). Way to many words per page and not for the "average" student - my more academic child is fine with it, but I wouldn't go with this company again. Great facts but comes off boring and overwhelming.

My eighth grade daughter is using this book in a co-op setting and loving it. It requires an hour a day for her to study and prepare for class each week. The 2hr class is for discussion, labs, and soon dissections. She has already taken HS chemistry and was used to a pretty structured regimen and she's a very self motivated student. We are finding this course very thorough! And it's fun, more so with a few peers. Best of all is that it does give God the glory. We are so grateful for this challenging and awesome book!

Starting to homeschool my 8th and 9th graders. Needed a biology book that fits our budget. This is perfect!

Book arrived quicker than we expected, which is always nice.The actual condition of the book was better than expected. Excellent transaction, and would purchase from again.

I've always liked this science program. These books help to make confusing topics clear for me. Though I have not actually finished this exact book, I love what I have done so far. I would highly recommend this for any Christian homeschooler!
