Cast Aluminum Horse Head Hitching Post

What’s not to love with this beautiful well made hitching post - I live in a historic house and it adds so much charm to my civil war iron fence and mailbox - everyone has been asking me about it

This is a nicely molded piece out of Aluminum. It is so beautiful that you would want it to last therefore it makes it even more special that it’s light and almost oxidation proof (as long as its kept off of salt). I made a steel stand for it by having a 1.25” pipe welded on a 6” square plate and then lowered the statue on the pipe (the statue is hollow). It now stands firmly where I want it. This way it is still portable and can be maintained easily.

Just received as I was looking for a horse post for awhile now. This is a real quality item...my neighbor has a steel post with a horse head and no detail on the post. The horse head looks great and the post looks fantastic. It comes in a great black matte finish that I think already looks great.I did read a lot of reviews before making the purchase...this is aluminum but you wouldn't know it. It is heavy enough o stand up but not heavy enough to trust leaving it along. I bought a 5' T-post and put the post over it...really secure and I have the flexibility to move it where I want to.Again....really nice item and glad I purchased. Can't see where someone would be disappointed once you see this.

looks great in garden

I'm landscaping my front yard to have an "Old-World European" style. Saw this and couldn't resist. It fits in with the theme. It is exactly as described with a flat black paint finish over aluminium. It is weighty but I could move it around with minimal effort. Placed (but not secured to ground) in my flower bed surrounded by shrubs and flowers. It has withstood several rain storms without falling over. It was shipped quickly, nicely packaged (no damage). I can see it with any style...Ranch, Country, Equestrian, Traditional, Old-World, New Orleans...the possibilities are endless. I may repaint it a glossy, hammered finish black, but that is just my personal preference. My friends and neighbors love it. It is different, it makes a statement, and requires no maintenance...win, win, win!!!

I received the hitching post within just a few days. It was just as pictured and what I had hoped for. Good height and weight. Very nice design and detailing. Has a look of quality and refinement to it. The box it was shipped in was ok but the wrapping was minimal and the post did suffer some damage to the paint. It was scuffed off in several places from rubbing during shipment and one ear had pierced the box and was down to bare aluminum. Since I found no alternative source I did not consider returning and will repaint it myself. There were no installation instructions. I set it in cement. Cast aluminum horsehead hitching post

I am very happy with the quality of the posts and their detail. I am using them next to the large doors of my newmachine shed so that I do not hit the building when moving machinery in and out. Several people who have seen them there have said how nice they look and are also considering buying them too. Thank you.

I liked it so much, I ordered a second one. A suggestion another buyer made on using a T-Post to install the post worked great. It came with a matte black finish, but I easily painted over it with a high gloss black finish. It looks fantastic in my yard.
