It's just like I expected just I haven't used it yet

Purchased to initially cleanup hazy vehicle head lights, but found many other cleaning uses along the way. Good to have available. Work well and easy to use. I would recommend for light duty projects.

I used the orange pads on 2 different cars along with rubbing compound. Then I used the black pads. My headlights were very dull and indeed they came up like new. I've tried several times in the past to clean up my headlights. Doing it by hand NEVER gave me good results. These pads with a drill really worked, 1/2 to 3/4 hours per lens.

I had to return some from another company because they just fell apart because the hook and loop just came off of all of the pads I used. Even tho they weren't expensive, I was pissed I wasted that money.I decided to try this company and I noticed they seemed a better quality and had a larger diameter that allowed you to remove them without destroying them in the process. I used the orange and yellow pads today and the results they left with just the compounding, left a big smile on my face.Glad I found these and hit the add to cart. They do the job and I am seeing great results. Can't wait to see what polishing does with the car's finish. They helped me improve the clear coat I put on and now all I have left is to polish, wax and then sit back and admire the hard work.Would definitely recommend this companies product.Update: May 24th I just used the orange pad to polish the car w/Meguire's Ultimate polish after using their Ultimate compound, and I am glad I did it. The finish looked great just compounded so I hesitated but I bought the polish so I might as well try it and glad I did it. The shine is even better and shinier than before and I can't believe how the color popped even more. (silver metalic).I used the blue pad to wax the sections of the car that haven't been newly painted and it beat the job I did by hand. I will be using this system to wax the car from now on as I am getting up there in years and making this kind of work easier, is always a good idea. Great product.

These pads are perfect size for buffing, headlights and tail lights. Unfortunately, one of my orange pads ripped off the Velcro backing after 1 use, so be careful taking them off the Velcro drill bit when cleaning or finished. I guess you get what you pay for. But besides that, they work great.

The only reason for less than 5 stars is there is no literature included to tell you which color pad (they have different stiffness levels) to use 1st, 2nd, etc. The trick is to keep the pad moving across the surfaces to avoid heating any one spot too much.I bought these for guitar finish work on a nice B.C.Rich Mocking bird that appeared to have been "deglossed" with a scotchbrite pad or steel wool. Lots of fine scratches... along with a proper polish that has some cut to it, I was able to mostly restore the factory shine in about 30 minutes I didn't remove every fine scratch as I would have had to cut more of the poly finish than I wanted but it shines like a new penny now.

Ideal for a battery powered drill.
