Looks And feels OEM just ??
I bought this for my 2005 Lincoln Navigator Looks just Like OEM factory one that was in the car .. The Reason I'm giving 3 stars is i can't get it to Adjust the brightness with the power button and when you go in reverse its missing the Marker lines on the screen . But everything else seams to work great.. And it Looks Great ! and it looks just like the Original one i took off That was the seller there for me .. Ill change my star to 5 if i can get to settings and make this for like they say or something ill also update with a video soon .. Thanks

Vibrates with music on low volumes
Vibrates like crazy with music or bumps. Avoid this thing. I tried contacting the manufacturer on multiple occasions as it asks you to do in the packaging if there is an issue. No one ever got back to me. I want to be clear though - it works. This is not an issue with the product actually working, but rather with the fact that the rearview mirror is unusable because it vibrates like crazy all the time. Its also not a tightness issue. Its on there tight. The balls that allow for movement do not have an adjustment to tighten and the mirror vibrates from there.

Best budget option in my shop
I use the mirrors and cameras from COOLINT on occasion in my auto electronics shop. I've tried and rejected EVERY other brand that's available at this price point. The value is absolutely there. Don't get me wrong, the higher priced, major professional brands are of a higher level of quality, but they're also several times the price and generally not available to consumers. When I have customers on a budget, I'm confident in the quality of COOLINT products.I really just have a couple small gripes, a big one being that the LCT models have an internal temperature, but no outside temperature probe, which is what you really need. The second gripe is that not everything they make is available on Amazon. They have two different displays, one with an extremely high brightness level for visibility in bright sun, and it appears that's not available. All in all, if you're looking for rearview backup camera products on Amazon in this price range, COOLINT is the way to go. You cannot go off of the average review rating either when shopping. First, many of the Chinese companies have shill reviews, but I don't think COOLINT does. Second, any negative review can easily be an install issue, since these are sold to the DIY crowd. It's a little more difficult to install these systems so that they're reliable than people seem to think. You can't just "tap" into the reverse lights and zip tie your cable up to the front.

Outstanding Value at the Price Point
Disclaimer: I was offered a lower price on this to write an unbiased review. The 5-star rating is based on overall value, and how well the item performs compared to how it is described. At the ~$100 price range, this is an awesome product that I highly recommend. In fact, I will likely buy one (likely the CM-43LAD for reasons stated below) for each of my sons' vehicles. I am truly impressed with this.Installation: Since I already had a camera in place (using a dashboard monitor) in my 2001 Silverado, the installation took only about 1 hour. The installation instructions are well-written considering they are generic for use on any vehicle. For specific instructions on how to install on your vehicle, vehicle forums and YouTube are your best friend. On most newer cars that I am familiar with, I recommend lowering or removing the overhead console and chasing the factory wires with the mirror harness. I also recommend keeping the connector nearby the console in case you need to remove the mirror later.Mirror: The mirror is highly reflective and provides a very clear view. I have not yet noticed the presence of the built-in monitor while using the mirror. This model does not have a dimming function, so I recommend it only if you have a tinted rear window, a higher profile vehicle (e.g., truck or SUV), or high tolerance for headlights shining in your mirror.Backup Monitor: This is obviously the primary reason you bought this, and this product performs very well for its price point. During the daytime, I did get some washout but was able to adjust it using the "power" switch so the camera provided a clear enough picture to use camera while backing. I keep my brightness set at 35 for the best balance during daytime use, and am able to clearly see what is behind me. This raises the point of the biggest advantage of having the backup video displayed in the mirror: you are able to use both the camera and your natural view simultaneously.Video Input: I have not used the product for this, although might try this later with the Garmin my wife uses. I can see where this would be a useful feature once you have your destination programmed.Summary (Pros & Cons)Pros:1. Functions very well as described2. Video displays very clearly with no apparent dropped lines or jumpy video found on lower-priced products3. Very easy to install4. Substantial and high-quality feel. Nicely weighted with no vibration apparent, even over rough surfaces5. Video brightness easily adjusted via the "Power" button6. Extremely clear mirror/glass with no distracting cloudiness or "ghost" of the video monitorCons:1. Does not have a mirror dimming function. A mirror is available with this at COOLINT CM-43LAD Auto-dimming 4.3 Inch LCD Dual Video Rear View Mirror Monitor OEM Replacement Bracket for Original Car Look should you need it. I did not subtract any stars since the CM-43LA does not include it. If I was installing this into a car, I would highly recommend the CM-43LAD (assuming it functions as well as this one).2. The instructions include (#7) a description of "High-reflectance mirror", but it does not appear to apply to the CM-43LA.I will edit this review later after the honeymoon has worn off and I can better judge its reliability and durability. Based on the high quality feel, I expect this to last the life of my truck.
