Pretty good
This is a water based, natural shampoo that is very light. My hair definitely benefitted from this shampoo. But, now that I have been using it for a month, it isn't going to keep bringing my hair to the next level such as a super saiyan. Give your hair a break with this shampoo. Honestly. If you have very oily or dry or damaged hair, it doesn't mean it is neccessarily nature. It means you are probably doing something wrong to your hair like overheating it, using harsh chemicals, etc. I reccommend using this shampoo for 2 months. A quarter sized amount is directed however it does not lather enough so it spreads throughout your whole head of hair. I have to do 2-3 quarter sizes. 1 for the scalp area, 1 for the longer hair. Then, after you have used this shampoo for a while, try buying a gentle, natural, fragrance-free shampoo. Maple Holistics has many varieties for all hair types.

For the price.. Its nice!
This stuff is pretty good... Just have used Moroccan Oil products, so my bar is set a bit high! This stuff is better than drugstore... But not as yummy as Moroccan Oil... I think it is the smell that I am always looking for....everytime I see the words stating Moroccan in it I think its going to give me that. But it is made pretty well. I just have pretty dry hair, so I need something that keeps my hair very hydrated without making it greasy-but my hair feels ok... Good quality ingredients. And for the price, its good!

Review from a male with acne going SLS(sodium lauryl sulfate) free
This review is from a male's perspective trying to find a shampoo that does not have Sodium Lauryl Sulfate(or it's many other names)I have used this for about a month instead of a dandruff shampoo that I have used for years, which has SLS. I have noticed two things thus far with this product. I have not had cystic acne while using this like I have had with the anti dandruff shampoo. I have also noticed that my scalp is super itchy after using this product. I have not noticed dandruff yet so that is good. I would honestly trade an itchy head for less acne :)The product itself is rather small sized so I use A VERY SMALL AMOUNT. This is where a male's perspective comes in. I do not have long hair, in fact my hair is very short, so this will last a very long time for me. Some one with long hair, I couldn't say the same. MY hair has been smooth after showering and I have noticed that I don't get the frizzy hair afterwards that I was getting with the anti dandruff. The scent is citrus which smells pretty good in my opinion. The shampoo obviously does not suds very well, lacking the SLS so that might detract some users. I am able to cover all of my hair with it so lack of sudsing has not been problematic.I am satisfied thus far with the product. I have noticed a reduction in acne while using this. My understanding is that SLS is a very good(too good) degreaser. It would strip excess oil from my face when the anti dandruff shampoo ran down my face, causing my body to over produce oil, then causing cystic acne where the oil was stripped. This might not be the case for everyone, but this product not having SLS helped reduce severe acne on my face. It has been the only thing I have changed in my routine so I would say this product definitely has helped out.I give this product 5/5 for helping reduce MY acne.

NOT safe for color treated hair as claimed!!
I don't know what it is but, something in this shampoo just strips my permanent color right out of my hair! used it on two days and both times the suds were reddish pink (my color is ruby red) and second time the water looked like i was rinsing out leftover dye as if i just dyed my hair the day before, it's been about 3 weeks since i dyed my hair!! if bottle hasn't been sealed, i'd think i got a bogus product, even more so since shampoo consistency is milky, actually just like the heavy cream you cook with.. scent is very light with this shampoo, i expected it to have more of a scent. I won't be buying it again for i don't like it one bit but, it does at least soften your hair, although it doesn't feel that way when your hair is still wet and you run a brush through it, when it dries though hair feels soft.

We're Hooked
For years I've used cheap shampoo and conditioner, even priding myself in it. But, obviously, my hair has taken years of beating from using not-so-good products. I finally did some research on products that are better for my poor hair, and came across this shampoo and conditioner. I was impressed with the price, since so many "good" shampoos and conditioners were so spendy! This one fit my price range perfectly! The first time I tried this product, my hair was so soft and silky! I could definitely tell that this product doesn't strip my hair of all its natural oils like the cheap stuff does. It cleans nicely though. When I wash my hair, it doesn't feel flat or greasy at all. In fact, it makes my hair feel full and allows my natural volume to give my locks some body. The product smells AMAZING as well! Kinda like a creamy soft citrus orange smell. People have even commented and said my hair smells great!Since my first time using this product (about 4 months ago), I decided not ever to go back to the cheap-o stuff again. And I'm so happy I've continued using this product! My hair (usually full of split ends) doesn't have nearly as many split ends, even with the cold coming on this winter! My husband is quite opinionated about and loyal to his hair products, and I had him try some as well. The other day he told me, "I think we should stop buying other cheap brands of shampoo and conditioner, and just stick to this good stuff from now on". So I guess that's our plan!A bottle of shampoo and conditioner have lasted us 4 months already.Just so you are aware, this brand shampoo doesn't lather much. It still cleans amazing and does it's job though!

Ethical, Fragrant, Shampoo
Sometimes it's a challenge to find a shampoo that's right for my hair - long, dry and dyed. This one interested me becuase it contains some twelve herbal ingredients, inculding dandelion, wild geranium, rosemary and borage, The instructions say it's very suitable for dyed or heat-damaged locks, and restructures the shaft and cuticles of each individual hair. The shampoo is strange to use at first because it is sulphate-free, which means it does not lather. Sulphates are the additives that create the bubbles in shampoo, and there are none in this product. I've been using a tiny amount - perhaps half a teaspoon-full. I must say, after six washes, my hair is beautifully soft and shiny.Generally, my colour fades after about twenty washes; I've tried every protective shampoo out there but I live in a hard-water area, and it's not easy. Thus far, the colour has stayed true, but time will tell.I like the manufacturer's commitment to the environment; this product is not tested on animals, uses kosher vegetable glycerine and suitable for vegans. The shampoo is beautifully packaged in a simple, attractive design. I love the turquoise and orange label and the citrus fragrance - so many natural products smell ghastly. The price seemed a lot at first, but I'm using such a small amount that it compares well with any good quality shampoo now.The lettering, font and design of the label plus the design of the bottle mean it is well-adapted for those with a visual disability.
