They feel and look great and high quality. The weight of it great as well. I cannot stop thinking about how cool they are while I’m using them, that’s the only issue. I want to gift this to everyone I know. I bought the olive wood so color is amazing.

These feel so comfortable to use, and contour the natural hand position. I can't attest to the sharpness, because I used my sharpener on them before I even used them. I'm weird about sharpness, so I did that right away. These are keeping their edge pretty well so far. Your mileage may vary, but these look and feel great.

Live these knives. O use my set all the time so have purchased them for my adult children.

The weight and quality of the materials on these are pretty good. Full tang with a solid wood handle.Downsides are the handles are left unfinished and the blades are varying degrees of sharp. The handles were easy to finish, I used some super fine steel wool (0000) and mineral oil. Two coats with a 24 hour cure has held up well for a few months so far to hand washing.The blades are sadly a mix, some came nicely sharp, others pretty dull. They do sharpen nicely and seem to hold the edge.Overall, I'm happy with them and bought another set, even with the downsides. Before these ones, I paid a lot more for another set of stainless laguiole knives from another maker that claimed to be high quality but turned out to have a lot of plastic hidden inside when they started falling apart. I figure even with the upfront oiling and sharpening, these seem well made enough to last a few decades. I think they're still worth it.

I hate serated steak knives and this set is a smooth blade, sharp and fits your hand perfectly

The olive wood handles were beautiful and the gift box makes a great presentation.
