I was apprehensive about this purchase because there were only 2 reviews and one was only 1 star. I'm glad I bought them. The speakers came in the original box and looked new. These are the predecessor to the newest focals, which run much more expensive even on amazon at about 1k, I got these for about $400. The sound clarity of the instruments and voice is great and they produce a rich sound that is very pleasant to listen to. I paired these with an Alpine 5 channel amp and they are a great buy.

Do you hear the music? I didn’t as one of the speakers did not work! Focal makes great speakers but don’t know who to contact about getting the defective speaker replaced under warranty.

My last speakers were the ppi 3 ways which are around 400 bucks and known to be a good value. I sort of expected these to be an actual upgrade but was let down when they sounded like ordinary speakers. I was blown away with the ppi so I returned these and spent 900 bucks on some morel 2 way and now Im pretty satisfied.Sorry but if you're dropping this kind of dough on car speakers then they have to wow me somehow.These sounded clear and everything they just had no wow factor for me.I use a 6 channel zapco SQ amplifier.

Wow wow wow! I can’t say it enough these speakers shocked my with their sound quality. Excellent highs and unbelievable mid range punch with no distortion at all. Im running 100 rms to each speaker crossed at 65hz with a 12db slope and these things pound. I need more dyna mat now.
