Can't say anything for longevity since I hacven't had them long enough, but these are exactly what I wanted!

Hate the harsh white LED bulbs. These are quite cool and even a bit dim. Perfect for evening when you want to be able to see but still feel like it is not high noon!

Wow, compared to another brand 40 watt/5 watt led, this lamp is great. This 25 watt bulb has far better dimming control, down in the 30% range much better than the 45% range that I'm comparing it to. To the eye it has good color. As to the start up percentage I cannot speak to that for I always start at 100% and for life that will have to come in the future, hopefully the distance future. As an electrician, lamp life is not what one might think, when it comes to LED's since I always write the date on all bulbs when installed and I will tell you that one brand I have bought from a big box store has consistently poor lamp life. Here is what you get, the LED will last for say 50,000 hours but the electronic driving it heats up and just isn't what it's sold as in many cases, be aware your paying premium and warranties can require purchase receipts and a good memory that tells you when that item was purchased, good luck.

This bulb puts out a great, soothing light. However, after hitting the switch, there's about a half-second delay before it turns on. That's kind of strange.It runs cool, the light is beautiful, it uses little energy. But it is tiny, and has an odd delay when powering up. If the GE bulb won't fit into your enclosure, this bulb provides a pleasing light.

A friend suggested I buy these after I lamented to her how difficult it is to buy a low wattage lightbulb in the era of LED lights. I got a pack of six and immediately used four on every decorative table lamp in my home and the light they cast is *gorgeous*. I am using these bulbs all on lamps with shades, so I can’t speak to how pretty or consistent the filament is but they throw a super lovely golden light. Will absolutely be buying another pack of six to have on hand. Normal LED lightbulbs are now relegated to task lighting and rarely used overheads from now on out.

I bought 2 of these for a front porch because there are no streetlights and it's pitch black at night, so I just needed some dim lights so I could see the keyhole at night. They'd be left on 24/7, so two bulbs @ 2 watts each fit the bill and was the lowest energy usage I could find.Once I received them, they were actually brighter than I was hoping. I ended up using only 1 and leaving the other fixture empty because the 1 bulb was enough to light up the entire 20x10 porch and steps. I was also surprised they pulled slightly less than advertised - my Kil-a-watt shows only 1.8W per bulb.To me, the color temperature seems accurate as it appears to match a standard incandescent bulb.

I needed an attractive low lumen bulb for my new entry ceiling lamp that has a clear globe. This is perfect. The 25 watt equivalent 2700K is just right for my small entry area. At first I put a 40 wall equiv. 3000K bulb in and it felt like a spotlight on a stage. I like that this is smaller than standard A19 sized bulbs and I like the "old fashioned" profile.

Kept looking for a bulb not too bright and not too white. The lampshade I have is off white and this bulb makes the perfect atmosphere.

Impressed that they dim well in a common touch lamp. They do throw a lot of light for 2 watts. The color is nice and warm. So far pleased.

Why are these so expensive? I bought one to replace a year-old bulb that failed. At this price, I later bought a whole string to harvest the bulbs.

Exactly what I needed
