Perfect fit for Yamaha flute

This is labeled incorrectly and I’m glad I took the risk. These fit great to plug the holes on my flute.

Bought these for my daughter who is just starting band and borrowed an old Artley flute from a friend. Was nervous they wouldn't fit but the plugs fit great! It takes some careful attention when putting them in (3 of them bent and were unusable) but if you slowly move your finger around the plug over the hole it'll fall into place.

I have an open-holed Armstrong flute, and the plugs fit fine. I broke or bent about half of them trying to get them in; if they're not perfectly lined up when you push down, one side of the plug will go in first and then dent the plug. Luckily they give you double the plugs you need, so I was all set for my one flute. If you're looking to plug more than one flute with this set, buy two, because you will bend or break at least one of them.

These are 7mm size plugs. If your flute keys have smaller or larger diameter holes, they won't fit, regardless of brand. This product, like most of the other flute key plugs sold here, does not indicate the size, so you have to guess. My flute has 8 mm-sized holes, so I guessed wrong. I had hoped that the larger flat top above the plug part might make a seal, but it doesn't. The plugs sit nicely in my flute until I try to play it, but they stick to my fingers, not to the flute keys. I don't think any of the flute key plugs currently sold here will fit 8 mm-sized key holes. Take home lesson: get a ruler and measure your flute key holes in millimeters.

These fit perfectly in my Yamaha flute! I ordered these as a replacement to the ones that originally came with my flute. These are even better, they are more smooth and flatter. They don't get stuck to my fingers or fall out when playing. I'm more than pleased with this purchase!

They stay in very well in a Yamah flute. At first they feel awkward because they are rounded, but soon they feel just fine. They are a little difficult to get out but something flat like a library card and careful handling gets them out alright.
