UPDATE--ALMOST 2 YEARS OF USE,,,,,, STOPPED WORKING-TODAY--103 WEEKS OLD?????----------OK TWO YEAR LOCK---ONE STAR
Love the lock, but after about 2 months it stopped working and it came down to the wiring harness was bad. The real problem is that the manufacturer usually just sells to contractors and did not want to work with a private party purchaser (like you will be if you buy this lock). Finally after talking to them back and forth a few times they agreed to repair it but I would have to remove and send it back at my cost for shipping. I will now have a huge whole in the door and no lock. After a few more calls they finally agreed to send the wiring harness but have not received it yet. It is a good lock but if you have trouble you will have to jump through hoops for them to work with you. UPDATE--ALMOST 2 YEARS OF USE..... STOPPED WORKING-----------OK.. TWO YEAR LOCK---ONE STAR

Not a solid as the old unit
The good: Easy to install, easy to use keypad,The not so good: Not as solid as the unit I took of off the door, this unit does not bolt to the door it has 2 screws that connect the inner unit to the outer unit thru the round door opening.The unit that bolts to the inside is done with 3 self tapping screws that are small and iffy at best. The inside unit does not sit flush to the door there is a very smallgap between the unit and the door. When setting up a new code do not believe it when they say a long beep followed by a short beep, its more like beeep beep and it is fast.The wireless remote is not RF so you need a direct line of sight to the sensor (if you have a screen door this will be a problem).If you are new to installing something of this type, the direction are not that good.For $99.00 this is a good unit, It is not worth the retail of $329Overall not a bad unit, I will write again after 6 months or so to see if it keeps working.
