RUIFA Indoor Quiet 8-Inch Precedent Decorative Wall Clock with Arabic Numerals (Pink)

Really liked this clock when I first bought it six months ago. Looks sharp, easy to read for a smaller face high on the wall. However, after a few months, it kept getting stuck. I took it down, shook it, re-set it, and it worked a few more times, but recently stopped altogether. Put in a fresh battery, and same thing. Stylish, but mechanism is inadequate, and this was on the wall untouched, not in the elements or played with or anything.

Some cheaper clocks really look cheap. Like you get them and think, "I'm not putting this on my wall". This is not one of those clocks.It looks great on my daughter's wall. The color is bright and full, not at all muted. (I ordered green). Very happy with this and yes indeed, it tells accurate time. Its not going to be a family heirloom but in a world full of junky stuff this was a great find.

This clock sounds like a freight train.It does not tick.. tick..tick. It chugs.Chugachugachugachuga. It's ridiculous that they advertised it to be "Silent" That is a lie. That was the only reason I ordered This particular clock. It is going to Good Will soon.UPDATE : bought 5/17. Died done less than a year.

RUIFA makes a number of models of this clock, all of which were easy to see "en masse" in a grid on Amazon. I clicked back and forth between the various styles and decided on this one. The large, bold font of the numbers precludes having each minute marked, but I would have liked a slightly thicker clock hands. Still, it is perfectly silent, which is much appreciated in a bedroom - surprising how hard it is to find a silent analog clock these days!

This clock kept on stopping even when I installed brand-new batteries of the recommended kinds. This is very frustrating. The minute or hour hands are not bend or crooked. Hence, there should be no reason why the time stands still. I recommend that you don't buy this clock. Unless if you want to be late for work or your appointments.Attorney Dee

I purchased this clock for our day care centre - it stopped working after two day's and so I bought some new batteries (Duracell) but the clock only worked intermittently an d has now completely stopped working - I have changed the batteries 3 times to no avail - is it possible to get a replacement? or my a refund?

My kids, (all well into adults), would come to my house & say the sound of the clocks would drive them crazy. So of course, I started hearing the ticking which I never noticed before. I bought this clock for my bedroom & I love the silence!!!! I plan to replace other "loud" clocks in the future. Highly recommend!

Finally, peace and quiet in my office room. The clock is directly above my computer desk and I was going goofy with a ticking clock, especially when concentrating on an educational article or news. The clock is plain, pure heaven for me and attractive too. The second hand sweeps smoothly and soundlessly and it's a keeper for sure. I think I'll get another for a different room.

Pros: Nice design. Simple.Cons: Clock is a few minutes slow. Falls behind about 5 minutes each week. Switched out the battery, nothing.Edit: after about a month the clock normalized and doesn't lose as much time as it had been initially losing.

I love "smiley" stuff. This clock is great. It works well. Keeps accurate time. And, looks good where I've hung it up.

Where I have it hanging in the kitchen it is difficult to see because the glass in the front reflects the light coming in the room.

Clear, easy to read black numerals on white with dazzling red housing. Lightweight, quiet. Fair price. This looks fantastic in my white kitchen where accessories add colour to the room. Not too large, not too small.I am very pleased with my decision!The clock was purchased recently so I can not comment on long term satisfaction nor battery life.UPDATE: March27, 2016Battery life. A bit of a power-sucker compared to an older and expensive battery operated clock I had before this one. Suggest re-'chargeable batteries and be prepared for clock stopping prematurely .Other than that, keeps time, looks good. Inexpensive to purchase.

The tick is loud and the battery has to be replaced like every 6 months.
