I'm a newbie to Rockhounding, and after buying the 'wrong' torch, decided to pay more for a quality bit of kit. 'The Beast' is certainly that! The results speak for themselves.For me the downside is that it also highlights the creepie crawlers! Yuk! Happily, it gives a white light, and also highlights the fluorescent rocks, which was the purpose of buying it. I'm satisfied!I can recommend The Beast! Easy to recharge and easy to use. Not too heavy for a long rockhounding session at night, AND it works during the day under the right circumstances. I have not tried using it in bright sunlight but it works in my garage and cloudy days.

Well worth the money for a quality powerful UV light.Don’t waste your money on smaller UV lights unless just checking bank notes etc.Very happy with my purchase.
