What a great product. My grand nephew looooved this gift. His parents said it was well made, creative design, and loads of fun putting it together. The gift came on time and well packaged. I highly recommend this gift, seller, and Amazon.

The Lego set was ordered as a birthday present for our 8 year old granddaughter.My 8-year-old granddaughter LOVES Legos and has for about 4 years. She collects them and has many of the specified sets. This surfer beach house has 2 floors that can be adapted based upon the child's originality, and has several characters for use as people in the house. In addition, the entire kit contains about 560 pieces. The kit is probably as advanced as some of the other kits that she has, and allows her to be creative. She likes the toy when received on her birthday, and she loves to tell us about how she has redesigned the beach house.BOTTOM LINE: This is a great building toy for children that love Legos. It is a good creative set for those that are adventurous. The price is similar to other Lego sets, and I would order this and other sets again.

We gave this Lego set to our granddaughter for her 9th birthday, and she loves it! So many colors and pieces to fit together--all of our grandkids love to use Legos! This one is especially fun and "brain-worthy" because she can do three different formations and even come up with her own creations using some or all of the pieces. She really likes the dolphin and turtles that are included in this set. It means hours of fun and good time spent ahead!

Lego fun! Very nice 3 in one design

This set was a nice change for my grandson. He asked for it and it exceeded his expectations!

This is an excellent build but visually it appeals to a crowd that is younger than the age group that can put it together on their own.By that I mean the colors and the general layout have a somewhat infantile look. But cognitively putting this thing together is out of reach for a child under the age of 8 I would say.I can tell you my story. Our son is six.. visually the build hits the jackpot for a six year old.Why?Because the forms featured on the box are brought, colorful and round and infantile.I asked him to choose which build he wanted (already getting into the overload zone.) He makes his choice.Basically the sheer number of pieces in the bag are information overload for him, so adults, when we do this build, my advice ... manage the information for the kids and set the pace to avoid fatigue. I eventually had to "chunk out" the project in like 5 zip lock bags.I found that if I, for example, put the pieces for pages .... 1-15 in one bag, the pieces for 16-30 in another, 30-45 on another (you get the idea ...) then my son can follow the instructions and build the beach house.But bottom line, excellent build, great for the brain, but it requires significant adult commitment otherwise you run the risk of having a 500 piece Lego grenade go off in your living room.

I love Lego. I am a Lego snob, and not because I care about brand, but because the blocks are superior and easier to build with than any off brands.
