Quality product
The dye is the absolute PERFECT color. This one is a very deep chocolate. I love it. It is very easy to apply, just don't let it overlap any more than possible & wipe it right away if you do, same as any of this type of dye. I bought some... oh, good I forget what they're called. Little twisted wire handles with cotton bobbles on one end. Dye-spreaders, in my world.I had tried other products (shoe polish etc.) but this one had the magic words "upholstery leather" in the description. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I bought more to dye a couch. And maybe two chairs.

Great stuff!
Worked great to dye a blue bag brown. It is quite dark and watery- be careful. Have never done this before and was very easy and satisfying! Also used the sealant by the same brand. Think that is key. Made it shiny but not tacky.

Strong, Washable, Weather Resistant Dye
This is a nice dye. When it comes to leather dyes, oil dyes are always stronger and more durable than spirit dyes. So if you are looking to dye a leather coat for harsh environments, or some leather work boots, this is the dye for you. Please note, this dye should be applied in multiple light coats, with a wool dauber or lint free cloth. Many light coats will give you a much better result than one or two thick coats. If you apply this dye too thick, in few heavy coats, you leather will end up splotchy, and the excess dye will stain and leak on to other garments. Please also note, this dye does not seal your leather! For garments or accessories that are meant to be exposed to harsh conditions, use a leather sealer.Bottom line: This is a high quality and durable dye. I would definitely buy it again.

Good product.
This dye applies easily and is quickly absorbed into the leather. I used it on two leather jackets, one about ten years old and one vintage (a flight jacket over 40 years old). If anything the flight jacket took the dye better than the newer jacket. The only issue is that one must be very patient and careful while applying the dye to get even coverage. I hung the jackets on hangers in my garage and applied the dye while they were hanging upright. Some dripping is unavoidable. I wouldn't do it anywhere near carpeting.

This product saved me $1,500
I was this close (gesturing with my fingers) to buying a new leather chair and sticking the old one in some inconspicuous location, but thought I’d give this leather dye a try. Although less than 2 years old, the chair’s dark brown color was rubbing off in certain places, leaving ugly orange patches. This product made it look almost new. Just be very careful. If this stuff gets on your carpet, clothes, etc, say goodbye to it. Wear heavy duty plastic gloves that will not tear, unlike the cheap ones I purchased. Put down a drop cloth and wear clothes that could be tossed. I didn’t follow instructions exactly. I didn’t use the deglazer or the sealer. I cleaned the spots with alcohol to remove oils. Then just applied the dye that I poured into a plastic container with a paper towel in a circular motion. Waited about 30 minutes and buffed with microfiber cloth a few times. Even if this wears off in a few months, I’ll just dye it again. Very happy with results.
