The Unit installs Quickly and Easily once the Electrician Wires Up the Plug Receptacle and Breaker. I had some Questions on Operations and the App for this Product. Called Customer Service and Talked to David, who was knowledgeable and Quick to answer my Questions. He then walked me through the Remote App setup as well as the selectable Current Settings and usage, which is actually quite simple and everything works perfectly. I am very impressed with the quick response and resolution. I would recommend this very high quality product to anyone! Thanks Again for the Great Product and Service!

After buying our first electric vehicle, an Audi E Tron, I had some decisions to make regarding home charging. Of course, if you're a homeowner, home charging is a no brainer as it takes the vast majority of range anxiety away. I think the first decision was "how big?". Every vehicle has a maximum amount of power it will accept from a level 2 AC charger. With the E Tron, it will take a charge from a 240V / 50A charger delivering 12KW. This charges the vehicle in about 6 hours typically. There are only a few chargers on the market that will deliver 50A. I chose the Primecom unit based on price, length of cable, and quality.I spoke to Primecome prior to the purchase and learned that there unit is built with solid copper wiring, while most other units use stranded wire or non copper wire. This allows the unit to deliver maximum power with efficiency and safety. I got a quote to have the charger professionally installed, but opted instead to take on the project myself. I'll be honest, this was a difficult project. My garage is located about 100 feet away from the circuit panel where I would be installing the new 60A 240V breaker. The cable needed for that amount of power is quite thick, and is quite a challenge to snake through the drilled holes through the flooring joists along the basement ceiling. After a couple of solid days working on this, I was able to connect the charger to the plug in the garage, power up, and start charging. After a couple days of successful charging, the unit stopped working. I called Primecom again, speaking with the same person "David", as I did for the pre sale call. After discussing between us and then David with his engineering team, it was decided to exchange the unit for a new one. Over a month later, the phone rings, and it's David from Primecom calling. He is curious how it is going with the new unit, "fine I say"; and further explains that their examination of the failed unit shows that it likely failed due to a significant power surge from the lines feeding my house from the power company. He went on to explain that the new unit has a surge protector installed to help prevent this problem from occurring again. I have to say, I didn't expect that call back, concern, and detailed explanation. I have no problem giving this unit and this company a five star rating, well deserved...

The charger is very easy mount and to use.

Worked great for 14 months-> but on the 15 months stopped working completely. Way too expensive for such poor performance.

This 50 amp charging station only takes 4.5 hours to charge from 40% to 100% Mustang Mach E.The 120 volt charger that came with the car took over 60 hrs to do that. (That was frustrating)I bought two of the 50 amp chargers (1 for home and 1 for the office. One of them did not work. Customer service sent me a return ticked and is replacing or repairing it now.

I was hesitant buying this, but after not finding a 48 amp charger available quickly, I decided to take chance. I just bought a Mustang Mach-e and wanted a level 2 that would enable fast charging speeds.I received the product quickly and had my electrician install it hard wired. He had a question while installing and called the support number. They answered right away and answered the question immediately without having to transfer the call. We were both impressed.As for the charger. It looks great and works wonderfully. The only minor gripe is that it is a very snug fit when plugged into the Mustang. I am pretty sure it will loosen up over time though.In summary, it lived up to my expectations.

Excellent product. Works great. In some cases more powerful than necessary. Easily charges Mach E overnight. Installation completed in less than 4 hours.very simple operation.

I paid a premium for this product because I needed a 30ft cable and this is all i could find for that. The main unit is advertised as having app support but it definitely does not. that was very disappointing. I thought I was going to get a premium product but this is just a chinese cheap thing. feels very light, and obviously shares many many components with many cheaper units listed on amazon. Could not justify the high price tag for this so i ended up returning it.Pros: cable length, can turn RFID off, 48A hardwired, digital display to see detailsCons:-Very expensive for what you get. the display is found on much much cheaper units so i think this is just a whitelabel of some ali baba charger.-No power off button. this is a cheap piece of electronics in an expensive price tag. I dont trust leaving it on 24/7/365 for years on end without something burning out. I use the charger once a week, and want to full turn it off when im not using it.Ended up returning this and getting a unit for $200 + $250 extension cable. The new one has the exact same display but is $650 cheaper. With a $250 extension i'll be at $450 with a 42ft cable reach, vs $850 for a 30ft reach. I used the extra cash to install a kill switch in line so the unit will stay off.
