OXO NEW OXO Good Grips POP Container - Airtight Food Storage 2.1 Litter (Pack of 1) 11233800V1UK

I already had one of these containers ( the tall 2.1 ltr ) and loved it. It looks really nice, love the push button to remove the lid and is airtight. I ordered another one as I wanted to fill it with flour ( the description recommends to store flour in their containers) . As soon as I filled it with flour the lid wasn't working properly. Even when the button was pushed in you can just pull the lid off which is not supposed to happen. You have to press the button first to remove the lid normally.I had started the process of sending it back as thought it was faulty but then thought I would wash the lid as it may have particles of dusty flour on the inside of the lid although I couldn't see any. ( I also hadn't filled my container right to the top so it wasn't as if the flour was touching the lid when I put it on ).I also removed the flour from the container and washed and dried it and the put another product in there and hey presto the lid was working as it should do.So basically if you want the lid to work properly do NOT use any of the containers to store flour!! Even so this is a lovely product and would recommend it for cereals etc.

My Suspend game (Melissa and Doug game with balancing metal rods) is much loved and the packaging a little worse for wear. I bought this to put the game pieces into. It's extremely sturdy and attractive. Hopefully we can continue playing Suspend for years to come. The lid has a clever click button to lock shut. Lots of space for pasta or any other long thin items I guess...!

I have a few of the OXO pop containers and to be fair I think their brilliant however when these arrived someone had thought it a good idea to sellotape the lid on !! Why would you even contemplate that?push popper down and jar sealed, even if you don't do that its not going anywhere. Its virtually impossible to remove the sellotape, it comes of in bits and leaves a residue, not only that when you peel it off the POP part , it takes the graphics and writing off.

This was quite disappointing, the air seal on it was terrible and the food i stored in it went off very quickly even with sillica packets being placed inside the container due to the seal on the container being useless.

After reading the previous comments on the reliability of this container, I thoroughly tested it when I received it. It is air tight, water tight and just the right size for my spaghetti.
