Felt conflicted about it bc I wanted to be able to see outside but not people see me and idk i thought it might be tacky but overall I really love it I can still kinda see outside enough to see if someone was in my patio which is what I was worried about. Also, before I put it on I like stuck it on the wall hanging down the window to see how it would look, but that didn’t work because it has this like milky kind of film on there that you have to take off so it doesn’t show you truly what it looks like without that film on there so I decided to just go ahead with it, and when I took off the film, it was a lot more transparent

Very easy to apply. No issues, or peeling. Good value. Recommend getting 2 rolls as 1 tends to never be enough.

A bit tricky to install; definitely use a straight edge so your edges are straight and can therefore fit next to one another without gaps. I love the rainbows these cast, but they are not opaque - they blur but do not obscure. So I had to also get some curtains for the lower part of the bathroom window. That way the light can come in, and I can have the rainbows - AND have some privacy.

Writing this review two years later! I’ve had this on my window the entire time I’ve lived in my apartment, and I’ve never had any issues—I absolutely love it. Installing it wasn’t too hard, but you’ll need a little patience lol. The rainbow effect is really pretty, though I’m never up early enough to catch the direct sunlight.I mainly got this for aesthetics and a bit of privacy since my window faces the parking lot. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t provide full privacy—if it’s dark out and your lights are on, people can pretty much see inside. During the day it still adds a nice layer of visual obstruction, but if you’re standing there naked, well… someone could definitely tell lol.That said, it’s absolutely gorgeous, I get so many compliments on it, and it really elevates the whole room. It’s never peeled off or had any issues, and for the price, it’s totally worth it. As for heat reduction, I can’t really say since that wasn’t my reason for buying it, but overall, I have zero regrets!

This brand of film is difficult to apply. It grabs and clings before you're ready, and is impossible to shift it in place; you have to lift it all up and try again.I ended up putting the backing sheet back on and then peeling it off in place -- it doesn't grab and cling like the bare film does. I peeled back the top 6 inches or so from the film. I could line it up and stick it down without the whole thing grabbing and sticking. I then squeegeed that top 6 inches. I then lifted the rest of the film just enough to get my hand under it and slowly peeled the backing sheet down from the film while making sure the top 6 inches of the film remained in place on the window. I slowly peeled backing sheet off and squeegeed the film down as I went, working out the bubbles.Still fussy and only the window gets misted this way but it seems to work.If you have hard water, as I do, use distilled water for misting and cleaning.The pattern of the film works well to obscure.I cannot yet vouch for the longevity of adhesion or the ease of removal.
