Better than I thought
The weight is much heavier than was expected which is awesome. The cane seems to be made of the same kind of wood from those three legged accent tables my mom had all over the house. It is sturdy for sure though. I'm using this as a costume prop as I didn't want some flimsy plastic tube; would've deterred from the entire costume. If in the future though, if I need a cane, this will definitely come in handy. I'm 150 lbs and feel this would support me well. The grip of the cane is nice enough and has some design on it. Seems to be decent but not too sure what is underneath the metal exterior; maybe it'll run off eventually, maybe not. Has a rubber foot on the bottom too. Would buy again depending on the purpose.

Nice walking stick but has a large ugly rubber tip
Ordered to use as a stage prop. Nice walking stick but has a large ugly rubber tip!

Dapper
Top of cane where handle attaches had a bit of flash residue from the coating process but was easily filed off by hand, collar between cane and head that hides the bolt is a tad loose, but easy held down with JB Weld. Over all, sturdy, not for constant use but pairs well with a suit and top hat for a fancy party.

Uneven taper, low quality handle. Tires the hand if used for its function.
Not a great practical cane. Not one that looks great either. I'd recommend a long handle instead of the slippery molded knob this one has. It'd even suck carrying around for a Halloween costume.

Would not recommend for use as a mobility aid
This item is superb as a prop or decoration but absolutely wouldn't be suitable for legitimate use as a walking aid. It does not have the strength or stability to be used as a mobility aid. The silver bulb is made of a cheap chrome like material and while sturdy and good looking, just doesn't have the feel or weight of legitimate steel. I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a fashionable cane as a mobility aid and not just as a costume prop.
