Impressed
2500 4X4 Suburban. 165k miles. I rebuilt entire front suspension and steering with moog, bilstien, ACdelco, Bluetop and that improved on center response over the warnout parts but the truck still continued to wander enough that driving and towing was fatiguing. This Cognito kit tightened up the steering enough that the truck is now confidence inspiring.Cognito packaging was top notch. The instructions are presented well, albeit not perfect. The brackets were design to utilize as much material to maximize rigidity while still fitting within the frame. The new pitman arm locknut required the use of a crowbar to co press and hand start the pitman arm nut. Then I temporarely loosened and dropped the sway bar an inch to better access the pitman arm nut with an open wrench and gave her everything I got.I did need to clearance (grind) a small interference between an idle side jam nut and the trucks frame at full turn.

Works well, quality product, you will likely need to modify for clearance
Application: 2006 HD2500 LBZ DuramaxSo most important comment first. As stated in the instructions you will need to check clearance at full lock right and left. Check your number of turns on the steering wheel lock to lock before you install, if you do a PROPER installation it will be the same after you complete the assembly. In my case I needed to chamfer the arms using a die grinder to clear the frame at full lock. I also had to go to a thinner jam nut. It is very likely you will need to do the same. The arms are very beefy and adding a chamfer will have an insignificant effect on the strength. Much easier to do the chamfer before you install.Deducted one star for making extra work.It seems to me if you are mechanically skilled enough to install these, then using a die grinder to add a chamfer and buying a thinner jam nut should be within your capability, just that we should not have to do that.

Upgrade.
If you have a LIFTED Chevy with OVER SIZE tires..... your gonna want to get these to stiffen up the steering!!! I upgrade to these along with the Gusset.
