Back to the Lake: A Reader for Writers Second Edition

This book was in an awesome condition for its price. It came on time with few folds on its corners. The only reason why I didn't rate this purchase 5 stars is because of what the seller put on the book. It was an unnecessarily large used sticker on the front cover. This book's cover is different from the rest. It has a unique texture which feels good on the hands. Sliding this book across a table would be close to impossible. I used Goo Gone and other products to try to get the stick off. To this day, the front cover is still sticky. So my suggestion to the sellers is to use either smaller stickers or stickers that could easily come off. Other than that, there is no reason to complain.

This book is great! I used it for my English 101 Class. Easy to read and navigate. But if you don't need the questions don't waste your money, because you can get the articles off the internet for free from a variety of resources.

Required for my English class, organized valuable information. Cooley has an interesting and easy going approach for writing, I enjoyed and will keep this book for my family.

This is the book that was chosen by the professor for the class. We use it for compare and contrast. It has some interesting things in it and provides help on essay writing.
