Works well, but…
These are really great! I lived overseas for a number of years and had three of these during my time there (one in each room of my apartment). I had the older models where you took the door off the back to replace the filters; these new ones break in half and you just drop the new filter in. It’s a superior design. My two criticisms are as follows:1. The plug is not the two prong-US plug for US electrical receptacles. I have been unable to find any like this online. The seller included an adapter, but it sparks slightly when I plug it in, which is disconcerting. It works fine once plugged in, but I am considering replacing the plug with an american style (the adapter seems to just be a pass through for the electricity, and doesn’t seems to transform the voltage or anything…removing the adapter would give me peace of mind).2. You set it up with the Xiao Mi application. I know there’s not much that can or will be done about this, but I don’t like having to use apps based out of PRC to control my devices for privacy reasons. I used the app while living overseas before, and I’m using it now, but it would have been nice to have it be able to be picked up straight into the Alexa App or the Google App.More affordable than most other air filters, will filter a small room, filter replacements are relatively affordable comparatively. This is a step up from the Smart Air DIY Cannons as far as fancy-ness and noise while still remaining very affordable. I purchased one to use in the states while I save up to buy a nice one in a few years (unless this thing continues to have replacement filters and runs…in which case, it would be for me to actually buy anything nicer).

Excellent product, cool design, low power consumption
This is an excellent product that works very well, consumes little power, has a cool design and an app that’s easy to use. With fire season coming up I wanted to get another air purifier. I chose this unit because of the combination of features, design and price.Setup was easy. Just plug it in and chose the mode (auto, manual). In auto mode, the device “smells” the air and based on air quality, it runs the fan faster or slower. The fan sucks air through the HEPA filter and cleans the air. The air quality is shown on a round display with a number (particles in the air) and a color bar (green, yellow or red depending on air quality). If you want to control it with your phone, download the Mi Home app. Setup is very easy. Open the app, click on the + button and the app finds the device and connects to it. Then you connect it to your wifi. And that’s it. You can now control it from anywhere. With the app you can see the air quality, you can change the fan speed with a slide bar and you can see how the filter is doing (along with other stuff). When I set mine up, I turned it on and set it to auto mode. it said the air quality was 3, which is good, so the fan was running very low. At this speed, it’s whisper quiet. Then I lit several matches near the air purifier. Within two seconds, the unit sensed the smoke and turned up to high automatically. The particle count went as high as 600 and the bar was red. Within a few minutes, the particle count went down gradually to 30 and the fan slowed down along the way. Within a few more minutes, the particle count was down to 3 and there was no smoke smell. Impressive. The fan is very quiet and energy efficient and it filters a lot of air. At the lowest setting, it consumes only 2 watts of power and at the highest it consumes just 30 watts. That is very efficient. When turned up high, it filters a lot of air but it is not very noisy. With the app you can chose any fan speed you want and the power consumption will adjust automatically within that range. The unit also has a cool, elegant design. I think it’s a great product and I definitely recommend it.Nice to have: it would be nice if they added a handle in the next version of the product to make it easier to carry. But this is very minor, since the unit is very light.Wish list: I hope Xiaomi at some point makes a unit smaller and more portable than this one. I would love to take it camping to clean the air of dust and pollen inside the tent. With the low power consumption it would be easy to run it off a power bank.

Sleek, minimalist design, app connectivity and does exactly what it says.
Overview:Tall and Sleek air purifier by known brand Xiaomi. The profile works in most rooms and can be nestled within corners fairly easily (allow enough coverage away from walls) doesn't clash with most decours. What it does:Quite simply cleans the efficiently and quickly. Max coverage area is listed at 409sqft and for the price this is very good. Other units that have more coverage area will cost more than purchasing 2 of these. Uses HEPA filters, so you're getting excellent filtration. Researching various reviewers who had even worse air purity, the unit was able to improve air quality from 100 down to 001 within 25 minutes running on high. There's 3 filters on the unit primary filter, the True HEPA filter and high-quality activated carbonThe HEPA filter is cylindrical in shape and is able to remove 99.95 percent of particles up to 0.1 micron in size floating in the air. This would include cigarette/cigar smoke, pet dander, most bacteria and viruses, and odors. Under normal usage the filter should keep for 6-12 months.Aesthetics:Again sleek, white, and very modern looking (minimalist design). The front panel shows air quality as green (0–75 μg/m³), yellow (76–150 μg/m³), or red (150 μg/m³) within ranges and PM 2.5 values, so you can see how much your air improves while it runs,. There's 4 icons for for mode and wifi indicator. The unit weighs about 10 lbs and so is able to be maneuvered relatively easily between rooms as necessary.Noise:On most modes the purifier is fairly quiet, if you need the purifier to run high it does have an audible sounds, no different than any standing fan.App:the Mii Home app (Xiaomi's app) houses several of their connected home products (vacuums, lights, air purifiers, et al.). So if happen to have other Xiaomi's products you can control them all within the app. The air status and the PM 2.5 values are represented in the app and if connected to your wifi, you can turn the air purifier on/off or set schedules. App is both available in Google's and Apples app system. In addition to the app, there is Alexa and Google Assistant support.WIFI utilizes the 2.4GHz band.

Efectivo y silencioso
The media could not be loaded.
