I ordered this because I thought it was purple like the pictures and description say. I should have looked at the reviews first, because others have mentioned it, too. The dial is not purple, it's root beer colored. The crystal has a blue AR coating which can make the dial look slightly purple in certain lighting conditions, but for the most part it looks brown like the strap. It's still a gorgeous watch, and I'm going to keep it. The rose gold does go great with the brown dial and strap. The quality feels excellent, and it seems to be running well and keeping good time. Still happy with this purchase, but annoyed with the poor description and photo, which is why I gave 4/5 stars. Just beware if your purpose for buying this watch is that you think it will be purple.

Not even CLOSE to purple. Unbelievable displeased by their fasad. If you want a purple watch DO NOT BUY

This is a fine watch, however, just know it is not 'golden purple'. It is brown plain and simple.

Watch looks nice, buts it’s not really a purple dial. The crystal reflects hints of blue and purple.

The "golden purple" is NOT PURPLE. The dial on the watch comes very close to a chocolate brown, and the crystal causes a blue/purple reflection if the lighting catches it right. You will get a chocolate brown dial, with rose gold indices, cased in a nice rose gold. It's quite a beautiful time piece, and would have the full 5 stars if it was the 'purple' colored dial as advertised. The leather band is great quality, and will look like a million bucks with a nice deployant clasp.

The setting system is all messed up now after less than 6 months of very occasional use. With the crown pushed all the way in, the hacking mechanism is released but the hands are still in setting mode. I know this is an inexpensive watch but I didn't expect to have to disassemble and repair it this soon.
