I worry about the combined weight of the T3 and tablet (Surface Go 2) putting pressure on the lens mount and camera body (Canon SL3 and Canon 24mm 2.8 STM). I jerry-rigged a solution by placing an extension plate on the tripod, putting the camera on a ball mount, attaching it to the extension plate, then clipping the T3 onto the lens, replace the center screw of the tablet mount with a 1/ 4 20 screw so it can be attached to the extension plate. An additional 1/4 20 screw was necessary to put under the camera to make everything line up evenly. Fortunately I had the other parts available so I did not have to buy anything extra.

Was recommended this prompter by a friend who uses it for some of his commercial clients. He has a iPad air to use with it, and had made a mount to attach it to his rails.When I got it in, and put on my larger 11 inch iPad Pro, the mount was causing so much strain, I could see my camera wanting to lift off the tripod mount.It just won't work with my setup so I had to return.

The media could not be loaded.  Some people are very good at speaking “off the cuff.” Me, not so much. So to have a personal teleprompter is a luxury. No more cue cards taped to the tripod. Also, for commercial work with a client (not actors) and they are going to be on camera, this will make your shoot go much easier.The Desview T3 is very easy to set up and operate.The APP is easy to find and very simple with Blue Tooth pairing. Just type or paste in your text, select a font size, and all the operations can be managed from the remote. It is easy to start and stop the scrolling and increase or decrease the speed.The body of the teleprompter has two cold shoe mounts out on the edge, so attaching a microphone out there makes a good minimal setup, and helps get the mic closer to the speaker.I didn’t notice any image degradation shooting through the mirror. It has a mount that can accommodate from phones to 11” tablets. I set mine up with an iPad mini and it fit perfectly and rendered text that I could easily read from 5-6 feet away.I am happy to have this in my toolkit. There is no storage situation included, it is a bit bulky to store and there are many parts to keep track of. I opted for a zipper pouch for the teleprompter and a small pouch for all the parts.

Have to use their teleprompter software to have the remote work. Whole things is flimsy and feels like about $3 of material. Their app is buggy as hell and fails constantly. Going to return it and look for something substantial.

Software is useless if using a tablet because you cannot increase the margins, and therefore, the text on the tablet is wider than the teleprompter screen. The tablet mount is weak. It is somewhat unnerving hanging all the weight on an expensive camera lens.

Forget about the remote control and the Easyview app... they're ridiculous. Use an app like Promptsmart Pro...As a prompter for it's compactness and efficiency, it's really well made and nicely styled.The smallest filter size you can have is 49mm. I have a Canon VIXIA R800 that has a 43mm lens diameter with threads, and so I bought an adapter and this allowed the T3 to fit right over the front of the camcorder, seated on a wide-footed tripod.Using Prompsmart, which used voice recognition to start and halt your dialogue, it was a wonderful thing to behold.IMPORTANT, though, you will need REALLY good lighting. I'm no pro so I used AUTO everything after fiddling around with the manual camcorder controls... AUTO just seemed to do the best job. But lighting is paramount. Consider 20% more light than if you were not using the T3. Even still, that can be corrected post-edit...

A fantastic Teleprompter system that solves a need for solo creators.I was looking for a solution that would take my video production to the next level. This unit comes with several options that allow you to film with both a full sized mirrorless camera or even a cellphone if thats all you have available.Some additional features are an included remote and app that you can download from the Android or Apple ecosystem so the vast majority of people are covered. It will support up to an 11" device.I've recorded so many videos that looked so unprofessional because you could clearly see that I was reading off screen and this device allows me to continue to make eye contact with the camera.This is going to be a big time saver in my video creation process.Conclusion:The product was shipped & arrived fast and was well packed. The instructions could have been more intuitive, but its an excellent price for what you are getting in my opinion and I would highly recommend.
