I'm using this light in my music room, about 25 by 20 size room and it does a great job of creating a club like atmosphere for my parties. This product is exactly what our band was looking for. Easy to use and easily mountable but stand alone were just as great. The variable modes were all useful and the patterns were bright & flowwy in production and in sync with the music. We love these lights!

Can't really say much, it was delivered with no power cord so I could not power it up, returned it instead.

The media could not be loaded. The light is very fast and colorful.Sound reactivity is very good and when linked via Dmx cable, the built-in programs are excellent.I set one up in a dark room on sound active mode and my dog absolutely loved it. He quickly realized that it moves when he barks. If he was wasn’t colorblind, he would have loved the colorful beams of light, but the blue, green and white spots were more than enough for his taste.Although one was enough to provide a sufficient club effect, I definitely recommend getting at least 2 because it makes the movements seem less random. Kinda like when you meet a set of identical twins and the fact that they look identical gives their appearance more of a mystique. If you do get 2, be sure to get a 3-pin XLR cable to link them. No need for a ‘Dmx certified’ cable… an XLR microphone cable will work just fine.

I put together a light pole for some backyard parties and this is one of the lights I mounted on it. The documentation is severely lacking, but I was able to figure out the majority of the settings and what they do. I was a little upset when I found out that Master/Slave DMX using sound reaction doesn't work across lights of different design. I'm not a DMX expert, but I figured there was a standardized algorithm for chaining together multiple lights for sound activation and have them sync up what they do. Once I read that doesn't exist, I abandoned chaining and set all my lights to sound. They all work great now, but you can tell there is some divergence in patterns depending on what is happening. I'm not looking to program my own lighting patterns and run a board at this time. For some reason, this is the only light that I have to unplug the DMX cable from in order for it to work properly. On my other lights, they will ignore DMX signalling when set to auto sound modes, but this one won't. If the cable is plugged in, it simply moves in a linear path, back and forth, with little pattern changing. As soon as I unplug the cable, it goes into full automation mode moving across both axis and changing up the light patterns. My kids love this light the most!

Great product money's worth recommended lights efficient multiple effects

This light looks great. I only use it in sound control mode and it works perfectly. It looks like way more expensive lights. I highly recommend if you are on a budget and do not have a DMX controller. Heck, even if you have a controller this would be a great looking inexpensive addition to your setup.
