Sturdy and stylish
This sounded like the perfect backpack for a new college student. It is better than advertised. The quality of the materials and the attention to detail are first rate. There is room for everything and a way to keep it all sorted. Also, like the handle on top so it can be used as a backpack or a handheld case. First rate.

Lots of useful pockets.
Lots of pockets of different sizes. Some of the pockets are obviously made for handheld radios, iPads, chargers, etc. Comfortable to wear also.

Flight Backpack
The backpack is light weight and perfect for my husband to carry his laptop, iPad, paperwork, flash light etc for his job as a pilot.

I like the lift mini better
The side pockets were hard to use. The sleeve for the fuel tester was too tight of a fit. It seems like the same size as the lift mini - but just hard to use. The eye glasses pocket was a major disappointment - could not fit my small glasses case in. Not gonna just put my glasses in there - even if soft liner. Plus the glasses pocket opens down… instead of on top (weird). No outside place for pens. Went back to the lift.

Nice looks, but terrible quality.
After buying the smaller bag and loving it, I upgraded to the flight outfitters backpack so I could fit 2 headsets. Within a month, one zipper handle popped off. After 6 months, I see that the shoulder strap is fraying and will soon fail, (see pictures). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. I wish I noticed the issues sooner so I could have returned it.

So far so good
Have only had it one week. Have not overloaded with a lot of books. But it is very practical for a first-year aviator.

Strap ripped after 9 months
I really liked this bag until I noticed that the strap started fraying after 7 months of use. Bag usually isn't loaded very full and I don't use it daily, but now the strap has almost completely ripped off and is only held on by the elastic which likely won't last long.Otherwise has been great and I'll probably pay to have it fixed, just wish it would've lasted longer before ripping.
