I love this skirt. I had to return twice to find my desired look, once I did -I immediately got a second -maybe a third on the way. It’s NOT see through at all, nice cut! It looks expensive on, although the touch of material may not, but only you will know. It’s actually more silky than expected but does not look shiny. Very comfortable!Depending on how you want to wear skirt, perhaps fold waist band over to make it short with tights. Or wear at knee or as midi. That is why I think u get so many different opinions. By adjusting the waist up or down-I get desired look. That’s also why it took me 2 returns to get perfect size-hard to trust size chart online and the reviews confused me. .I’m 5ft 4 very curvy, Hip 38 at widest -long legs, waist on small side, skirt hits me about 1.5 below knee, when I wear waist high. Fold over just above my knee. If u wear under a longer tunic top you can do a 3rd waist band turn down and get a mini! . xl looked sexy but not appropriate for office -got 1x and it’s just right, a little loose, but looks great. . I do fold over waist band and wear short over winter tights with boots! Love all the plaids for winter. It has great stretch. Tip-if you wear Lularoe Cassie pencil skirt, it runs similar-think of this skirt as the more affordable version. I am anL- xl in Lularoe. I can only speak for plaids did not buy solids yet. If you know how to dress your figure-u too will love it.

I really like this skirt. It fits nicely on my body and is appropriate for work too. The material is not too thick so it can be worn in warmer weather.

Great (faux leather) looking skirt but the material makes so much noise when you’re wearing it and walking around. I shouldn’t hear my clothes. Had to return!!

Okay so I got one with the scuba material. If you are reading reviews you've heard all about that already. But honestly that really doesn't bother me at all. And actually because it is winter it is quite warm which is nice and the thickness is good for hiding all flaws. The pattern does degrade to a duller color when stretched. So that could be a major issue for some, but again, it is minor and doesn't bother me so far. Of course I will put it on again tomorrow in the daylight and see how I feel about it then. I wont even begin to try to figure out how they made these patterns on the fabric, I'd guess some kind of printing because it doesn't go all the way through. But I really love the bold print. These are so unique and playful, I really enjoy these patterns. So I am open to buying a couple more that I am particularly drawn to, to see how they fly. Here is what REALLY annoys me about this skirt- BEFORE I even put it on it was already falling apart at the waist. They were trying to make the seams less noticeable I imagine, so they sewed it then turned it inside out and just that process opened up the seams. At least that is my best CSI theory. I will also add that the style really would not look good if you were trying to tuck a shirt into it or something, then it would look bad and cheap. But, I will be wearing it with my shirts un-tucked and cinch a thin belt around the waist. So I dunno, if it passes the sunlight inspection tomorrow, I think I will keep it and just restitch the waist myself quickly and not bother with the return.

I liked the color, fit and material. I will be ordering more colors.

This outfit went over well at a rainbow tea. I wore the jacket, shirt and skirt made with the same line and this is the finished product. I got lots of compliments. Size large. The jacket and skirt are stretchy material so it was form fitting. The shirt was silk-like. I am 5'3 and 160lb. True red.

I LOVE these skirts! Others have said to buy one size up but I’d say only do that if you’re teetering between two different sizes. Otherwise, they’re pretty true to size. They also stretch out very mildly so if you buy a size up, just beware of that. I bought one and have since bought it in 3 more colors. The material is nice without being too casual and yet is comfy and has a decent stretch to it. The seams are all well sewn and lay flat, including the slit. I hate skirt shopping bc I can never find something that I like how it fits. These- I LOVE. They wash well (I wash them on gentle) and I hang dry or tumble dry low bc I want them to last as long as possible. So far I have a plaid with a tan stripe, the deep hunter green, the deep red burgundy and black. All hues are rich and consistent throughout the material. The plaid one is a bit softer than the other three. I’ll be adding more colors and patterns to my collection! The lighting in my picture is weird so the colors look off but it’s just the lighting.

I don't know about any of the other skirts, but the black leather look skirt is not good. It shows EVERYTHING! I have a shaper that I wear with all my pencil skirts and form fitting dresses that doesn't show, but it did with this skirt. Every line, crease, and seam was glaringly obvious through this skirt. Forget trying to inconspicuously wear a garter.. Everyone will know what's going on under this skirt. It is also the loudest, most obnoxious fabric I have ever put on my body. I tried wearing stockings under it and even the slightest movement is very loud and annoying. I even tried on a different skirt to make sure it wasn't the fabric of the stockings. If you are looking for a chic, posh skirt this is not what you want.

I have to say, I’m very impressed. This skirt is way nicer than expected. It’s a thicker, very stretchy material that’s comfy to wear and looks polished. I really like it.

Hideous synthetic fabric, poorly made and very tight around the hips but loose around the waist, not figure hugging at all, just don't buy, don't waste your money.
