Classical Guitar Tuning Machines-with Anti-Friction Bearings upgrade

These are very nice, very functional tuning machines. I replaced the tuning machines on my low-end classical guitar and cannot believe the difference. The original tuners were junk stamped out of some base metal and plated with a gold color. There was a lot of play in them and one key in particular would not stay tuned. These Rubners are light-years better quality than the ones I replaced, installed easily and work perfectly. They are heavy duty, solid brass with nice smooth gears that turn with German precision. I almost feel guilty putting them on my Lucida 550 guitar - kinda like putting racing tires on a Hyundai. Shipping was fast, tuners were well packaged, instructions were accurate and readable and the product was superior. 5 stars easy.

Even though they work well, the rollers in the picture are black which I loved, but I received white, so I am quite disappointed for not giving me what they offer.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED , the last two mounting screw holes near the finger board matched the last two onthe tuners, plugged two holes & drilled 4 new ones . NOTE; if U have to drill new mounting holes, be sure to measure the depth of the originals and mark your drill bit with masking tape so as not to drill to deep through the head stock and damage the instrument, do the drilling by hand as power drills are to difficult to control in this small area, I also had to enlarge the string spool holes which is easy if U have a round wood file , and check your work often so not to over do it. Decent quality, decent price for a "standard"tuning machine. However, foe a relatively few bucks more, I would go with the Rubner machines with the bearings.

Very fast shipping! These tuners are an excellent upgrade, very smooth and accurate. Installation took about 30 minutes and was very easy, I had to drill 3 new holes for each side which was not a problem at all. I highly recommend them!

I purchased a guitar at a garage sale and purchased some parts to upgrade and fix it, this was a great buy because it fit and the tuning was easy.

Great Rubner machine heads wow. Got them in the mail today over a week before the estimated delivery. Just mounted them and they runs very smooth. Allthough this is the basic Rubner tuning machines the simplicity and the solid look make them goodlooking. I allready ordered a higher grade Rubner set for my other guitar.Tom TakahashiDenmark

These tuning machines are of high quality. I ordered two sets recently and have used these machines on two previous builds. I will not hesitate to use on future builds.
