The House of C. G. Jung: The History and Restoration of <BR>the Residence of Emma and Carl Gustav Jung-Rauschenbach

This is a beautiful book. I've visited Jung's library and study in this house, so it was especially meaningful to read the history behind it. It is well written and includes many pictures and drawings.

You might want to buy this book if you are fascinated by Jung's life and want to learn as much as possible. But then, is the type and amount of knowledge you get worth the '$60 plus' price tag? I'd have to say No. However, the book does fulfill it's primary objective - to supply you with plenty of information about the house Jung lived in and how it evolved.

All-encompassing. Includes familial aspects without too much sentimentality. A clear story of the evolution of his house, its inhabitants and their personalities as reflected in the changes in the home. Historically and architecturally interesting.

Wer sich für das private Lebensumfeld von C.G.Jung interessiert, insbesondere sein privates Wohnhaus in Küsnacht, ist mit diesem Buch gut bedient. Das Haus wird anhand von alten und neueren Fotos, im alten und neu adaptierten Zustand gezeigt. Es wird auch auf einige Details am rande eingegangen, beispielsweise Bilder und Wandbehänge.

wish we hadn't bought this deeply boring book.. yawn.. who cares.. I'd rather be in a pub with a drik in my hand than looking at old Carl's soft furnishing..
