Something has changed - for the worse.
Current review: We've used this product for a few years. Something has changed with this product. It now makes my dog sick, and he throws it up until his stomach is empty. I suspect it is somehow being processed differently, with different chemicals. I do realize that it could be my dog, however he has not had negative reactions to any other treats he gets.Prior review: My lab likes these American made rawhides. I buy American as I've heard foreign rawhides are processed with formaldehyde.

I have been giving my dog rawhide bones for years. These smell very chemically when I opened the bag. It says on the front of the bag, product of USA, but on the back of the bag it says USA beef hides, made in MEXICO.

Same As Store-Bought Rolls
Don't be fooled by the US flag, the label on the back says "Made in Mexico". Still, I gave them a shot. When I opened the bag, I was hit by the smell of chemicals and rotting flesh. Several of the rolls are brown, gray, and either hairy or moldy on the inside where there are spaces between layers. The inner roll is parts-is-parts, with a whole hide on the outside to hold it together. These don't appear to be of any higher quality than the Chinese ones sold in stores.

My dog tore these in half, undid the knots, and then into pieces in 10 minutes.
I'm sure these are fine for a small dog with no teeth, or a very old dog that just wants to "gnaw", but my dog had these torn to pieces in 10 minutes. The material is way too thin, the knots easily came undone, and he bit them right in half in short order. Very disappointed. For reference, he is a 9 month old Airedale.

Great lasting pure enjoyable bone and treat that lasts long.
My dog loved them, need another pack. Genuine, don’t have to worry about fillers, additives, where they were made... lasted good enough amount of time for my 15 pound dog. She tears the small twisted rawhides up in a couple days because she is a chewer. My other one, usually steels all the bones but not this one. So that is another added benefit. Great lasting pure enjoyable bone and treat that lasts long.

My dog loves the bones, that being said I am giving this 3 stars due to the "advertising." I searched for DOG TREATS MADE IN THE USA and these came up with numerous positive reviews. The hide comes from the US, they are made in Mexico. Just sayin'

Not made in the USA!
Very disappointed in the 'false advertising' of this product. The hides come from the USA, but the bones are made in Mexico. We specifically wanted USA made rawhide since that's the only way you know it's regulated. Waste of money...

Happy dog!
Wow! These are giant. My 65 pound pitbull/greyhound mix is thrilled with these and they will last him a long time. It was totally worth the price to get a four pack. I think they are even a little big for him. It will take him a while to get through them, which is OK with me.
