Car Backup Camera 6 led Night Vision 180° Viewing Angle Full HD License Plate Rear View Cameras Parking Alarm,Waterproof

The camera is clearly advertised as yielding a 170 degree field of view. As with every backup camera I've tested (this is my 5th), the manufacturer is quoting the lens angle, not the viewing angle generated by the camera sensor (Amazon should fix this blatant false advertisement for all backup cameras). With the camera mounted 12 inches from the wall, the viewing angle covers about 11 inches to each side of center (see test photo). This is an 85 deg viewing angle, not 170 deg!The camera may be rotated down by loosening the four set screws on the back (see photos).The LEDs didn't work on the unit I received, so I'm returning it.

I found that it actually is a little off from where my truck is. I don't mind that it is off, I don't rely on it. I use it as a way to make sure I'm not going to run into anything. I still use my mirrors for the main part of backing. I don't like the red wire attached to the yellow rca cable.

This is a great back up camera. 180 degree, so clear, I see my bumper and surrounding all at the same time. I highly recommend it to anyone else who might need a back up camera
