Utterly useless
Spent over £100 on these tiles, hoping to at least dampen some of the noise coming from the floor above (mostly footsteps and creaking). Yet the noise is as loud and persistent as ever; I can't tell if the cladding has made even the slightest bit of difference.

Excellent for Acoustic treatment
First of all, for those reading, these are for acoustic treatment, and not soundproofing so don't waste your time on these if that is your intent. Acoustic treatment aims ONLY to control sound reflections WITHIN the room, to make better-sounding recordings.I used the soaking in water method to expand the foam and had no issues.

The BEST way to expand is using a steamer.
These are exactly what I need to add an accent to a mundane bedroom wall. It makes a great alternative for a head board that I didn’t want to spend hundreds on for a cheap block of wood. The tiles come very compacted and airtight in sealed plastic. They are flat and seem to be unusable, HOWEVER, The MOST important thing to know if you want to get the full quality that you seek is to use a garment steamer to expand the tiles, (See Video). The instructions say that they need to be soaked in water and tumble dried — I’m sure the expansion will be accomplished but with much less convenience.Overall, this is exactly what I needed.

Llegaron Muy aplastados

Perfect reusable sponge towel.
Easy to install they said.Double sided tape on them they said.In mather of fact double sided tape isnt a good idea... The dust accumulated into those spongy not noise canceling pad is just not making it sticking. I used tack instead.... What a waste of double sided tape.... Rly they arnt cheap and that dont work! Its canceling the echoing sound. Its not canceling the pénétration of the sound....
