Be warned: some of these stories are quite dark for small children. For those who enjoy Tomi Ungerer, this is a very handsome collection.

A wonderful compendium by a uniquely talented author/illustrator. Beautifully bound and printed.

Get it, great for ALL ages. My 18month old loves it. Especially moon man because he is obsessed with the moon. Can usually only make it through one or two stories at this age.

The only thing that would have made this purchase better is a signed copy. My twin granddaughters love this book.

Tomi Ungerer's illustrations are divine. My favorite in this one is still Emile.

The rewards contained inside this hefty anthology are endless. A lusciously coloured sleeve houses a pink cloth-bound monograph, stylishly typeset in debossed lettering. This is masterly storytelling with a big heart. Tracking down some of these stories in English has proved to be tricky, so it is a real treat to find all of Ungerer's key stories in one handsomely printed tome. Tales to ignite the heart and feed the imagination. Children's books simply do not get better than this.
