The helmet looks and feels of decent quality and build. It's easy to use, instructions are very straightforward. You can easily sit down and work on your PC/watch TV etc. while the treatment is ongoing. There's no discomfort during or afterwards on the area that's being treated. The only problem I had with using the helmet was the tight fit in the front: I was getting a red mark every time on my forehead where the front rubber bumper pad sits. After ruling out skin/rubber allergy I contacted iRESTORE Team (they had already sent me a followup email after registering the product online) and they immediately sent me smaller foam/rubber pads, which definitely helped with the discomfort on my forehead. So the customer support so far has been doing their job above and beyond for which I am grateful.At the end of the day, this is an expensive purchase and the actual rating will depend on whether or not the helmet will help in retarding hair loss. With that in mind I will update my final rating once I've used the product long enough to see whether or not it's helping. Fingers crossed!

I’m 43 and have been doing minoxidil and propecia for about 15 years or so. The game plan was to slow down the hair loss until there is a “cure.” My dad and brother have a lot of hair loss so I have been regimented with those for years and have done a great job keeping mine. Recently though, I noticed hair getting a little thinner and hairline falling back some. So I needed to do something extra. This was a very expensive purchase but picked this one because it has a better coverage including the front of my head where I wanted it most. I look like an idiot wearing it, but have been doing it just under 2 months and this thing definitely works. I added this to my usual hair loss prevention I mentioned before. I do this Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I just sit while I watch tv and have it do its thing. No exaggeration, in this short time period my wife has recently said many times “your hair is defiantly thicker.” I can also tell. In fact, my hairline literally grew back an extra row of hair and then even in my widows peak area above my temples has hair growing back just outside of the extra row of hair that grew back. It is kind of crazy. Honestly, I should have done this years ago. So, long story short, it is very expensive, but if you do it religiously, it will work (along with propecia and minoxidil). I do topical propecia. It was so effective, my wife also uses it now. Also, it was so effective I bought my wife the red light mask thing this same company sells.

I’ve owned this for 30 days. I’ve been using it as recommended. I bought this for two reasons. I do have thinning hair and I also have psoriasis on my scalp. I wanted to see if it would help both issues. I think it has helped my psoriasis already in and just only 30 days. I can tell I do have little tiny hairs so we’ll see. I’ll keep you updated as it goes.

I bought this for myself on black Friday of 2024. I've been using it for almost six months and I have to say, I think I see a difference and some new, short hairs sticking out of the front by my bangs. Not enough to run shouting through the streets, but I feel like it may be making a difference. I sort of wish I had sprung for the upgraded model that has more lights.

Honestly I been wanting to buy this product for a very long time, now that I’m doing prp hair treatment with plasma this was perfect timing to buy it, package came in on time so thanks Amazon and also really nice package I register the device with Irestote for my 2 year warranty and the sent me free products to try out so very pleased and happy with this will come back to provide extra review in a few months.

My expectations were low, but I went ahead and purchased this because of the price drop. I've had continuing hair loss for the past several years and was running out of options since I've tried just about everything. I've been using this product for almost exactly 2 months and I am simply amazed at the results I'm already seeing! There are new "sprouts" coming up everywhere on my head - and I now have a widow's peak that I never had before. It's kinda crazy! The thing I noticed today is that the new hair is returning in my old color before I went gray. Love this thing!

It's very east to use while relaxing or moving around the house. It is lightweight and comfortable on my head. I haven't really noticed any discomfort with the heat level. I have only been using it, as described, for a couple of weeks but so far I'm very optimistic!

Giving 4 stars for now. Haven't had for long so unable to comment on if successful. Easy to use
