I have been looking for something that I could use when lounging on the couch or in my office chair to keep me warm when it is cold outside. I am so glad that I found this Mermaid Tail. I have the Adult version in mint scale and it is absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I like the fact that it's not too thick so you don't get hot. I am a plus size girl and I have no problems with this fitting me correctly and even goes up to my arm like it should. It's very easy to get in and out of it. They have a kids version too but I have not purchased it yet. I am sure it will be just as good quality as this one. The mermaid tail comes with a thin blue back pack that you can put it in to store or to bring on vacation with you. Since getting this, I have used it almost every single day and I have had no issues at all. I washed but allowed to dry on my drying rack. I only used detergent and had no problems afterwords. Another pro I give this product would have to be the fact I do not get itchy like I have other wrap around type blankets. The end of the tail allows your feet to be open and breathe if you want them to be. This would be great for someone who gets hot feet like my husband. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a high quality mermaid tail for either a gift or your self. I have been wanting to get these for my adult daughters for sometime now, but seeing the icky fleece ones in stores and the wildly fluctuating reviews on line, I put of the purchase for a while. I would occasionally have a million amazon pages of these things up, but I always balked at the purchase. Because honestly, who wants to receive a sub par product, be all disappointed and then have to go through hoops to return it? Or god forbid, just keep the darn thing and eat the cost because you don't want to be bothered with the return process/costs?Well, I caved and bought this one. And I am thoroughly pleased that I did so.It is a beautiful sea foam green colour. It is soft, lightweight, but cozy and warm. I chose this knit because I wanted one that kind of looked like scales. A drawstring storage bag was included I liked it enough that I had to debate on whether or not my daughter was actually going to get this or if I was going to keep it and order another one. I sent it. She loves it. We are both happy. This was an easy five stars.

My Granddaughter's birthday is this month, and she is having a mermaid themed birthday party. So, keeping true to the theme I set out on Amazon to find her a cute mermaid tail blanket. I came across this particular company who had great choices in colors for youth and adults. So,I ordered the cute pink youth blanket. I was very inpressed when I received it. The blanket is 57" tall and is very thick. I bought my daughter an adult mermaid tail blanket for Chrstmas, from elsewhere and it isn't much taller than this child's one. my daughters isn't nearly as thick and soft either. She is now begging me to buy her one just like her neices. The blanket comes with a cute draw string back pack (which are the cool thing to carry these days), which will be great for our daughter to pack up our grandbabies blanket and take it with her. Not only will this blanket be great for snuggling up on the couch to watch frozen, it is also the perfect size to take to the movie theatre. Our granddaughter is still young enough, she falls asleep in the shopping cart when shopping. This blanket is perfect to pull out and wrap her in as she sleeps there. This blanket is so versitile, especially for little ones. I am very excited to wrap it and give it to her next week. The only downfall I have, is shipping takes 7-14 days, so if you are needing it as a gift, plan ahead, or just order 2-3 to keep on hand for that surprise birthday party. We will definitely be purchasing a few in the future. (Please note. this is a youth blanket on my 5'3" daughter. Its is definitely a great size for a child to fit in and grow with for a few years)

I purchased a kids size mermaid blanket for my daughter for her birthday and just loved how it fit so I had to get one. I love the quality of this. The wave pattern is fun and adds so much character. Crafted beautifully with no noticeable flaws. The fit is great and comfortable however I'm positioned. I can take it to work and use St the desk to keep my legs warm or at home on the couch. The color combination is so fun and striking. One of my favorite lap warmers.

Love this mermaid blanket! My son is 3'9" so it's pretty big. It's really soft and really pretty with lots of details and a very pretty knit, not just your generic straight weave. It's also very affordable! Plus the seller gives you a carry bag, because you know your little one will want to take it everywhere and care instructions for when they do and it gets dirty! Will be buying more for Christmas presents, since I know all my nieces would love it too.

I have been looking for a mermaid tail for quite some time and I love this blanket! With being 5'4" the blanket had a lot of room left over and could easily cover my chest with out it being tight and stretched. When standing on the floor while in the blanket it come up to my neck! This blanket is very comfortable and my got to blanket whether on the couch or sitting at my desk. My feet get very hot if i am under a blanket but this blanket is very easy to get my feet out and still stay warm. Since this blanket was knitted I hand washed it and let it air dry. This is a perfect gift idea and comes in a variety of different styles and colors.

This beautiful two tone kids mermaid tail blanket is different from any other I have seen. The bottom area have enough space to put your hand through, I'm presume that is a safety feature. It also has two sets of ruffles at the top. What is different is the top is extra long, so it can be pulled up and over the shoulders. Truly being a blanket. I'm giving it to my niece and she will love it.
