Chocolate Chip Cricket Cookie Mix with Cricket Powder (Cricket Flour)

Someone on the marketing team missed the opportunity to call these "Chocolate Chirp Cookies." These were easy to make and taste great. The only odd thing is that I keep getting the urge to rub my legs together each night. Thankfully, it stops when someone walks by.In all seriousness, these are good. It was something fun to try. I think the price is a bit high, but it is a specialty product and tastes better than big box retail options. It was definitely a nice treat.

Was really apprehensive about trying these, and I was pleasantly surprised! They tasted delicious. I skipped the egg so that they would be more fudgy and softer. Everyone loved them. I ordered them as gifts but people have been too phobic to even try them. Their loss. A bit expensive as cookie mixes go but make a nice treat. hopefully the price goes down a bit soon and I’ll order more.

I purchased this item after trying the same companies chips. I have only used it to make the cookies per the recipe on the back so I cannot speak to any other uses. The cookies are great and it makes a large number of cookies. Great for adventurous eaters.

These cookies are SHOCKINGLY DELICIOUS. I am a vegetarian for environmental reasons, but I make an exception for Chirps cookies and chips. Cricket protein is a sustainable resource that has positive environmental impacts and provides so much protein, which I am always looking for. These cookies are high in protein, EASY TO MAKE, and delish. My family devoured them within the hour! I brought them into my classroom and the kids loved them. Great way to have a treat that keeps you full for hours.

I found this a good thing to try. It was really delicious and made me think that maybe switching to insects for protein might be the future I'm okay with.I wouldn't buy this often to be honest. It's still a bit more expensive than what I am comfortable with if I were to use it regularly. I will, however, definitely recommend buying this at least once to try. I am definitely going to buy these on special occassions

Easy to prepare, taste great and have equally good texture. I enjoyed them as much as traditional chocolate chip cookies, with one exception - they have more sugar; a lot of sugar. I'd wager these would be better with 1/2 or less the sugar mixed in.

Delicious cookies. They have a hint of cinnamon in the mixture, which isn't acceptable to everyone, and is actually a bit surprising in a chocolate-chip cookie. I liked them a great deal, but consumers who aren't fans of cinnamon might not enjoy them. Considering the yield of cookies in a package of mix, they are on the expensive side.

We bought these after reading an article about how our current sources of protein (beef, chicken, etc) will soon become an unsustainable way to eat. This particular article had mentioned cricket protein bars so we did a quick search on the Internet which led us to this cookie mix.Dough looked gross, but the end result was AMAZING. Every one at our work ate them up and genuinely enjoyed them - some even came back for seconds! They were also interested in the discussion about our future protein sources and WHY bugs are a solution. Great conversation starter.Go ahead and buy a bag... you won't be disappointed. *chirp chirp*
