We do not have an ice maker in our fridge, it pooped out years ago. I have a counter top ice making unit that I replaced the small flimsy plastic scoop with this one. This is just the right size and it is a quality piece. Glad I ordered it.

It does the job and it looks great! We keep it in the fridge which isnt all that good because steel gets really cold but its easier to get the ice cubes

I ordered two of these scoops. I use them in my in-freezer ice cube tray - PERFECT! I'm going to use the other when we use an ice bucket. High quality and perfect size.

I KEEP IT IN THE FREEZER NEXT TO THE ICE BIN. EASILY SCOOPS ICE TO FILL WATER BOTTLES AND GLASSES AS WELL AS PITCHERS OF LEMONADE ETC.

This ice scoop is sturdy, easy to use, not too big and not too small for 16 oz glasses. Very happy!
