Have tried it several times - still a fan
If you have the time, you can customize the results of using Reshma Henna. I bought two of these boxes. For the length of my hair, that equaled 4 full applications. I am african-american and am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. I heard about this product from you tube testimonials of women with waist length natural hair.I tried Sally Beauty Supply's version of henna which is more for the color than the health benefits so I switched and tried Reshma Henna which I have enjoyed better. The longer you allow the mixture to set and the longer you leave it on your hair, the more color you get. I use the natural color. I brew double green matcha tea to mix with the henna to make it more reddish brown which is what I was going after. I also add ground double matcha green tea powder into the dry henna powder before mixing in the green tea. I add avocado and grapeseed oil into the wet mixture and let it set up to 6 hours depending on how much color I am going for. Otherwise, just for health benefits, 2-3 hours is fine for the mixture to set. I cover it with plastic while it sets on the counter top at room temperature.I tried adding lemon juice the first couple of times and did not really see any difference when I left the lemon juice out so I no longer include the lemon juice in the mixture. It covers my gray well but as another review mentioned, it will wash out over time. My new growth is really curly and the breakage is less since I started using Henna. I re-apply about every 6 weeks or when my gray starts to show again. My overall hair cleansing regiment with a henna application is that I co-wash with Tresseme Naturals conditioner and leave in for about an hour. I rinse well and move on to the henna application. The longest I have left it in (to get more color effects) has been 5-6 hours with a regular shower cap on. If I need to go out, I simply tie my head up in a scarf with the shower cap underneath. I rinse well and them apply a deep conditioner (currently using Shea Moisture Deep Moisture Mask treatment with argan oil and shea butter) to avoid any dryness or hay feel to the hair. I leave the deep conditioner on for about 1-2 hours. I rinse well and move on to a Giovanni weighless moisture leave in conditioner and style. I handle the henna with gloves on because it will definitely stain your hands and nails for a while.I would recommend this product if you want stronger hair and/or a natural hair coloring alternative.

LOVE IT!
Before purchasing this, I'd never used henna before. I watched a bunch of videos, each of which provided different instructions. Then I just did hte simplest thing: I slowly added boiling water to henna while mixing until it was a "yogurt" consistency. I covered with plastic wrap and let it cure for 12 hours. Then, because I wanted dark brown hair, I mixed an equal amount of indigo into the henna... adding warm water and mixing till it was a "yogurt" consistency.I generously covered my hair (in small batches) with the henna mixture, covered my head with plastic wrap, washed the henna off my ears, and topped it all off with a shower cap. (From what I understand, it's important to keep the henna moist while on your hair.) I LEFT IT ON MY HAIR FOR 6 HOURS (this is important - it takes time to sink into your hair).I had to wash my hair twice to get rid of henna grit, then added conditioner and rinsed it out.I knew before doing this that it might take 2 applications to cover the gray. As expected, the gray hairs were more "orange" than I liked, so 2 days later I went through the process again, but only covered the "gray/orange" part of my hair. When done, all my hair was a rich beautiful dark brown color that I've had multiple compliments on.This past weekend, I went through the process again, and only needed to color my hair once...the gray hairs ended up dark brown instead of orange.I love how silky it leaves my hair, and I am hoping it will strengthen my hair as I continue to use it.

Reshma Henna
This is the only Henna brand I have used. The first time I used it, I thought my hair looked too red, compared to my natural color, but, with each use, I have really come to like the color. It looks auburn, and is very strong now, and shines. The extra color at the roots, goes away in a day or so. I feel like my hair is in the best condition it has ever been. After first use, you can just put it on the new growth, if you don't want your hair that has already had henna on it from before, to grab the reddish color. It washes out as time goes on, but, hair still remained shiny. I really like this product. I also use WEN conditioning shampoo, which I will continue to use, however, I believe the henna is the reason my hair has become so strong and shiny.

Really helps my dried out hair
As my hair is turning grey, it has really gotten drier - and it was dry to start with. I have to say, using this product not only produces a great deep auburn (I use hot coffee instead of water and let it sit for several hour before I apply it) color, and the different tones that get picked up from my natural hair color differences makes it look very natural.I wish I had used this year ago!

Three Stars
It is not a bad product but the quality of the henna is something to consider about.
