Easy Growing Fragrant Orchid - Dendrobium kingianum Live Plant - Pot and Soil Included - Perfect Beginner Orchid

The orchid is exactly as described: roots in 1-inch plug of moss, a pot and PLENTY of moss in which to plant it, and clear instructions for growing a healthy Dendrobium orchid. The Predatory Plants people even sent an email in advance to help in preparation (reminder to have some extra distilled water on hand was useful). After a week, it has settled in nicely, and shows signs of thriving.As an idea for a gift, it's not bad – other than its "some assembly required" nature, and the *very basic* pot included. I already had some clean, attractive orchid pots on hand, though, so this little guy got a wardrobe upgrade from the start, and made a nice present to myself.

Nice healthy plant. It was small, but I expected that. It was nicely packaged in a small plastic bag, which withstood two days of 90° weather before I realized it was in the mailbox. It contained a larger pot with enough sphagnum Moss to repot it immediately. All in all, a great value.

My granddaughter enjoyed the detailed instructions that came with the plant. It was delivered to her home a few days before it was expected. I haven't personally seen the plant so I can't describe it, but from what I've been told I'm pleased with my purchase.

I was expecting a small sprig, but what arrived on the coldest day of the year (so far in Indiana) was a well-packaged plant with one old and 3 new canes. It was easy to pot in the included sphagnum moss. So far it appears to be healthy and happy. I was at home and watching for the mail when it came. I'm not sure how long it would have lasted in a cold mailbox with temps at 20 or below.

ok, so it's a few months on now. i replanted the plant in moss when it arrived, and just let it do it's thing. it's grown abt three inches already :) i water every other week or so, H2O with some added orchid fertilizer. it sits in my kitchen, in an east facing window. it's going to be a beautiful plant in a few years, so looking forward to it. i'm in no rush.

Might be easy to grow, but it will be along time before I can comment on that. It is tiny! And will not bloom for at least a year. So, I can't comment on any other part of it yet. I did not use their potting material, but got some Orchid potting 'soil' for it. It is growing and looks healthy.

The orchid plant arrived in really good shape.It was pretty small but, I am anxious to see what it grows up to be.I would purchase from them again.

I didn't leave a review right away because I always like to give them some time to see how they do. I received the orchid 5 or so months ago and it looked awesome when it arrived. BUT It has yet to grow even a little bit. It's not dead, but it hasn't changed one bit since it arrived. I'm super disappointed.
