All you need to do is wipe the mat down front and back with a damp cloth or sponge. You can saturate the sponge with a mild organic cleaner or a spray-type household applicator with a mixture of tea tree oil and 6 oz distilled water. Washing the mat in the washing machine is not recommended, as it could cause the fiber to unravel, which in turn could cause damage to both the mat and your washing machine. Cleaning is required after every use for maximum performance. Storing your yoga mat when not in use is a breeze. Simply roll the mat with the fabric side facing outwards, and then place on a shelf. Be sure to store the mat in a cool dry place with plenty of good airflow in order to keep it in pristine condition, also please avoid the sunshine.
